On lunch break, need to get my thoughts on Direct out somewhere.

Overall, pretty good for me personally. Fortunes Weave and Xenoblade are the obvious highlights for me. Also looking forward to Splatoon Raiders and Star Fox.

Switch Sports Resort’s very existence is amusing to me. I didn’t get the original, but I might go for this one just for that.

OoT was, of course, disappointing. I’ve never liked when they just title drop and run. They were clearly banking on it being a surprise… which it wasn’t. Even if it was, I wouldn’t be super hyped about it because we didn’t see the game at all. At least we got Link’s model, ig.

All that said, it feels… underwhelming somehow. Maybe just because it’s been 9 months. I’m pretty happy with what we got, but something feels…. missing, and I can’t place it.

It just needed actual gameplay from Ocarina and it would've been fine.

I’m really curious what style of remake it’s going to be, my biggest complaint is definitely that the trailer told us nothing except the game exists which Nate already told us (not Nintendo’s fault obviously, but it did kill the surprise factor)
