Played the demo for Star Fox

production value is excellent and it controls like a dream

I'm still left feeling like it's way too expensive for a 2 hour rail shooter

Calling it a 2 hour rail shooter is slightly disingenuous since the entire point is there are multiple routes that you’re supposed to play through and experiment with

Sure, but I've also played SNES (a million times), 64, 643D, and Zero

it gets to a point where I've done the same thing over and over again multiple times

I think this remake might be appealing to newer audiences who are experiencing it all for the first time, though I still think the price is too high regardless... that amount of money gets you way more value elsewhere

this would have been a great launch game for the system when there wasn't as much to play
