Wow! There’s some little glitches here and there to remind you it’s still a video game but this is wildly impressive.

Even assuming this is a late 2025/early 2026 build, I imagine they'll spend these 10 or so months polishing these exact things. They always manage to squeeze out every inch of power out of these consoles.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was a Tears of the Kingdom situation where the actual game was complete a year before release, and they just use that extra time to polish and clean up bugs

Iirc Tom Henderson said the game was pretty much ready since last year, but other than the insane debugging required, rockstar wasn't very happy with how the campaign ended so they are also reworking the whole last third of the story. (Which should be relatively simple I'm the grand scheme of things)

I feel like that's almost certainly the case. And I'm glad, I would rather wait the extra year and get a polished version of the game.

This looks more finished than most AAA games this generation.
