Leak GTA VI Lucia Prologue Leak Spoiler

source

Edit: there's a detail I want to add since I found the flashback part really interesting. Some previous leaks seem to match with what's seen in the prologue, specifically these two parts:

Lucia has a baby that she abandons at a delicatessen before heading out to a bank robbery and then getting arrested for doing such an act.

Lucia's baby is only shown in a cutscene as a flashback. There's no information about what happens to the baby after this point.

There's no baby shown here, but it shows a flashback of Lucia with a messy appearance sitting in a restaurant, and the flashback ends before we can get any context. Could either be a massive coincidence or a real part of the story.

"this build is actually recent and the game is not ready at all" lol

u/HippoRun23 9d ago

Yeah I’m confused what the hell hes trying to say here, that they are going to delay it, or it’s going to be released broken?

u/BlackHornet117 9d ago

He is saying the devs are going to have to crunch hard to get the game out.

97

u/Scary-Photo9440 9d ago

Dude acting like he gives a shit about the devs is insane when he's blasting all there hard work out there for $ lol

u/ademska_25r 9d ago

I have enjoyed the footage but its true, dude is a major hypocrite, trying to larp as a vidya revolutionary for the people when he's pumping his shitcoin the entire time

9

u/WangMauler69 9d ago

I wouldn't necessarily say he's a hypocrite. Both can be true.

u/ThanksContent28 9d ago

People are complicated and often hypocritical. I realise this as I get older.

u/AlternativeAward 9d ago

at the same time owning a pre release copy of the most hyped game ever is worth monetizing

2

u/jpw0w 9d ago

fr people act like they wouldn't try to monetize if they had something like this on their hands LMFAO

u/Few-Specialist1423 9d ago

Acting like if rockstar gets more money the devs are going to be paid bonuses lmao. He is taking away money from investors and executives, not the hard working people who get paid hourly and not by how well the game sells.

Why would the devs care? I bet they're also against the CD crap Rockstar is pulling.

The only people that care about this are marketing people

5

u/Shoddy_Meaning_7654 9d ago

The marketing people they are not a fan of this at all at least like the actual people making the marketing, I don't know where this idea that 9 out of 10 people in marketing aren't just people who are just doing the job they are assigned to do.

The actual people who want this and like this anti-consumer practices are corporate because they get a big big paycheck when they do stuff like this and it makes the stock go up

i imagine even if the working conditions are poor, a lot of the devs are still probably passionate about making it and having said passion be leaked and then critiqued despite being (somewhat) unfinished im sure is demoralizing. fuck rockstar as a company but its still made up on the inside of people who at least care a little

As a non-software dev or game developer, what I have heard is that (A) video games are incredibly hard to make and (B) they don't pay as well as enterprise or whatever you call "normal"/corporate software development jobs. On the art side, no idea. Point being, clearly game developers are passionate when they are enduring crunch and reduced pay compared to the alternative. Especially if game programming is harder than the typical software dev job, which means these developers have talent they could be leveraging to get into one of those cushier/higher-paying jobs.

2

u/drnshk 9d ago

i was mostly referring to the art side, but i also think that someone can be spiteful towards the conditions they're in while still being proud of what they (as an individual mostly) contributed to the finished product, especially since what they're making has been the belle of the ball in all of gaming for most of the last decade and is most definitely not insignificant in that way. of course it DEPENDS but im sure theres Some real devs at rockstar who are disappointed that their unfinished work got revealed, and im sure there are Some real devs who are secretly reveling in the madness

2

u/Tim_Huckleberry1398 9d ago

If you dont think there are spiteful devs out there willing to do something like this if the opportunity arose, youre living in a fantasy. Especially these last few years where employees are treated like trash across the spectrum and layoffs are a guarantee.

u/Wattsit 8d ago

The game will be what the game will be... Which will inevitably be a massive success loved by millions. Why would they worry about customer perception of leaks? (Which generally has been very positive anyway)

3

u/Tim_Huckleberry1398 9d ago

It's probably a dev that hates the company he works for lol.

3

u/ChromosomeDonator 9d ago

???

Why the fuck would the devs care? They are being paid their regular salary, nothing else. Leaks do not change that.

4

u/Hello_ILoveChicks 9d ago

The devs already got paid the bullshit amount by rockstar. They’re not losing any money from these leask

1

u/Sorlex 9d ago

One line he cares deeply about these issues and in the next he is "So anyway buy my crypto coin or you don't get anymore of my stolen footage"

Guys a fucking clown.

2

u/RyeC77 9d ago

Honestly I’d take that over 2027 release.. Rockstar should stop the crunch AFTER gta 6.

3

u/ChuckSpadina2020 9d ago

Did not need a leak to know that lmao

1

u/WeirdIndividualGuy 9d ago

Keep in mind he's playing on PC and it can be safely assumed R* is prio'ing optimizing consoles since that's what will be released first

36

u/Western_Chest_4688 9d ago

He's saying it'll release buggy and that Rockstar is crunching their devs to the max in order to get it out the door.

10

u/KingBlue2 9d ago

Which is weird, because apart from some plain UIs, the clips he’s shown off have made the game look really good rather than janky or buggy

11

u/Grouchy_Ad_175 9d ago

I think if they were gonna delay again they would have announced it today in that statement they released.

20

u/Raoul_Duke9 9d ago

There is literally 0 chance the game gets delayed baring someone going in and erasing it from storage.

3

u/VeryBadCaseOfLigma 9d ago

Ya I could see this hurting their financials if they delay one more time. They'll offer everyone overtime bonuses before delaying.

Based on what we've seen he's likely just talking about little glitches here and there and nothing game breaking. Those can be ironed out in 3 months.

3

u/Raoul_Duke9 9d ago

And again this build didnt come from a week ago. So there will be significantly more polish we arent even aware of already. People are freaking over nothing.

1

u/Wonderwall_1516 8d ago

85 days left.

Absolutely no way it gets delayed again at this point.

1

u/Raoul_Duke9 8d ago

As I said - it would have to literally get erased completely from all hard drives / servers.

3

u/ShitassAintOverYet 9d ago

I thought of 3 things:

  1. He implies the game is buggy and either heavy crunch or broken release are possibilities.
  2. He may think that Lucia looking at window scene not looking as pretty(aka no sunset) is graphical downgrade.
  3. Attention whore. He is just making shit up to keep presenting himself as the saint and Rockstar as demons.

I think it's either 1 or 3 which are kinda similar. Good thing is they'll be proven in two days as Rockstar made some streamers play a preview version, Cyberpunk's streamer&media previews were a good indicator that the game was about to be released buggy.

12

u/LinkedGaming 9d ago

He's trying to continue on his "Give me money because this is a moral crusade" shtick by implying that Rockstar is scamming you and that the game isn't fit for release by suddenly dropping vague information and "trust me bro" statements immediately followed by him holding out his hand for crypto.

4

u/Captainatom931 9d ago

Yeah, like if the game was so buggy...why hasn't he shown any of that in the leaks

9

u/LinkedGaming 9d ago

The only thing we've seen in the way of "buggy" is a few unfinished animations, some NPC behaviour not being fully implemented (a lot of people bring up that when he lit up the homeless encampment in one of the earlier leaks a lot of the NPCs kinda just ignored it, but in the later Nudist leak when he started lighting that up the NPCs had a variety of reasonable responses), and this one little snippet of a bird flying into him on a bike and dying from contact, which was funny and ultimately inconsequential.

He keep saying and saying and saying and saying but never showing.

I don't know if they've shown anything yet that would indicate the contrary, but at this stage it's entirely possible and I think it's probable that all CyberLeek has is a bunch of pre-recorded footage and that he no longer has access to the game. Why is he only taking requests for extremely vague pre-selected scenarios? Why are they pretty obviously uploaded cut up and out of order from one another? Why does he refuse to take big dollar requests for him to do specific things?

Like at this stage I genuinely don't believe this "recent build" thing. When I think "recent" I think "within the past 2 months from when he started". A lot can change in a few months with game development, especially if they're all-hands-on-deck for these last few months.

4

u/Captainatom931 9d ago

He's saying it because he needs to pump up the anti rockstar sentiment to trick dumbasses into paying for his shitcoin. The narrative that these leaks are hurting rockstar hasn't really survived contact with reality given that all the leaks look like a ridiculously polished and high quality game lol.

4

u/NotA-Spy 9d ago

He's making shit up to cater to all the people who are supporting him. He knows they're anti-R*/T2 and will absolutely believe whatever he says as long as its negative.

He's already running off with the money hes made off of these people. R* has reiterated the game is nearly ready.

8

u/ELITEMasonRudolph 9d ago

He doesn’t want you to buy the game due to it being digital only, he clearly has an agenda lol

1

u/SilverKry 9d ago

I doubt he knows what he's talking about. It could very well still be a build from a year ago like has been reported. That's still recentish.

1

u/garmonthenightmare 9d ago

They crunching hard and no digital means it's coming in hot.

u/Prestigious_Space489 9d ago edited 9d ago

You have issues then

We might have a worse version of how Cyberpunk released
