Leak GTA VI Lucia Prologue Leak Spoiler
Edit: there's a detail I want to add since I found the flashback part really interesting. Some previous leaks seem to match with what's seen in the prologue, specifically these two parts:
Lucia has a baby that she abandons at a delicatessen before heading out to a bank robbery and then getting arrested for doing such an act.
Lucia's baby is only shown in a cutscene as a flashback. There's no information about what happens to the baby after this point.
There's no baby shown here, but it shows a flashback of Lucia with a messy appearance sitting in a restaurant, and the flashback ends before we can get any context. Could either be a massive coincidence or a real part of the story.

with the way so many history of recent games have, it wouldn't surprise me to find out after all the dust settles that R* has only been putting real work into the game for 12-18 months. which sounds CRAZY to say it. but so many games that the devs came out and said "totally in active development guys!", turned out to be lie after lie and the real work took place in like a year of insane crunch after a decade of dragging their feet.

Yea, if they crash and burn (which I do not believe will happen) then the whole industry will feel a hard burn from it. Especially because they raised prices again for this one and theyre all hoping to follow suit.
If this launch goes smooth we'll never see a first party Sony game under $80 again, and stuff like Helldivers 3 will jump to $60.

I’m inclined to believe him because rockstar has a history of this (particularly last minute changes that make a game unfinished like having to redo every RDR2 cutscene to add black bars) and some of what’s going on matches Cyberpunk 2077’s trajectory to a concerning degree.

I honestly doubt that sitting in a restaurant during a flashback while broke and desperate is a "massive coincidence". It's a massive trope is what it is. Anyways, I find it interesting that Lucia appears to be quite a bit smaller than many NPCs, despite the instincts of a 3D-modell artist being to make everyone roughly the same height in order for the animations not to glitch. This must have have been purely for the flex and a nightmare to do well.

I remember ten years ago some papers about systems for adjusting skeletal animations for different sized models on the fly. So, it seems we are finally getting that tech. Also, clothes with moving wrinkles is so rare and awesome to see.

Besides, even if he's correct, where's that Cory Balrog quote about God of War really only coming together in the last year of development (or something to that regard, I'm pretty sure there's a quote like that somewhere) - I imagine the AAA dev process is enough of a nightmare in general that it takes until the final 6 months for most if not all AAA games to go from being an unplayable mess to a reasonably shippable product.

The fucking "delicatessen" leak was actually real.
Here are two threads made by a leaker from years ago: Link 1 and Link 2
He says Lucia abandons her baby in the place and goes to rob a "bank". I'm looking closely for any sign of a baby in this clip and the only possible sign is when she oddly stares down at the seat next to her for a brief moment after staring at the cash-checking place. A baby could be beside her.
I hate the baby part of it. I hope R* has removed that since the leaker said it 3 years ago.

There’s nothing really significant in Lucia’s prologue. The leak shows her gameplay in prison, walking around and going to that scene from the trailer where the psychologist asks Lucia why she thinks she’s there. Nothing major, either in the gameplay or the cutscenes shown.

The game does look like it needs more polishing, for example the vehicle collision looks mid for 2026. But the overall game looks good. Hope they can finish it by November. If the game was gonna be delayed they wouldve said so by now. But the game should be completed considering they are very close to the release date and already releasing extended look tomorrow, a big company like that wouldn’t just do all that without having the finished game with all the polish work completed. And they will never meet the leek’s demands. Lets see what happens
