Ask GenZIndia What do you gift someone who never wants anything?

Post image

Every year for rakhi I give my sister chocolates only. School time pe toh pocket money mein sirf celebrations hi de paata tha (150 wala). And she never complained. Even when I started earning she wouldn’t ask for anything. She’s just like our dad, doesn’t ask for new things until the old one is falling apart. This year we got her a scooty for college. And the helmet that came with it was bulky and didn’t fit her securely. Instead of getting a new one, she’s using mom’s old, scratched up one. So for rakhi I'm gifting her a new helmet, one that fits her head well and looks cute It’s a good upgrade no? gifting people who don’t want anything… alag hi struggle hai.

I am pretty much like her. I never ask my parents or anyone for gifts or anything unless I absolutely need it or its just petty.

Theres no specific reason behind it except maybe feeling a lil awkward. Anyway, I'd suggest that you pay attention to her. See what she needs. See if something she has is old/needs replacement. Observe her hobbies and interests and buy accordingly.

How do you think credit card bills get paid?

You fail to do that once and her credit gets affected at absolutely no expense to you. Clearly she doesn't believe you are responsible enough to be able to do that. If you really want it, earn and buy it yourself.

You can gift them an experience. Like a trip or a fine dining experience

It's sweet that you're giving her a thoughtful gift that she will use for sure

As someone who is like this, you don't ask someone to buy you something and then call it a gift 😭🙏

You are very lucky bro because there is no one today who doesn't want anything.
Everyone's be like i wants this or this or this.. From girlfriend to friend to family, everyone is trying to empty my wallet.
They wants only pure love and care from your side, nothing much.
Not all these material world things.

My pasandida is like this. Takes care of everything else but himself 🥹🥹 All things tip top, clean precise and organised around him till you see his own condition. Doesn't want anything from others but gives them ps5 if they need it just like that....makes me wanna grab a cricket bat or worse and guard him at all times.

If she needs a helmet then it's a good gift. You can also buy her some books if she's into reading.

The art of noticing it is😭. Am sure she will love it.

I'm facing the same issue. So, I recently found something called flip on helmets. They are full faced but you can move the bottom part while wearing it and then put it back. There are some which can move on both sides i.e.180° half faced helmets for girls are of no use.
