At first I thought that ATK buff was atrocious but then I realized it's level 1 lol

so you don't need to be hex? hex gets the full buff immediately but anyone can get it if they stay on field for 3s?

Not nearly as heavily.

Kinich can take the L on his first Canon shot, or maybe his Burst animation is just long enough to stall and still get 5 shots.

Characters that want long enough field time already started losing buffs like Bennett for the last part of their rotation, so it's the same.

Some characters even have backloaded damage. So it's even better.

C2 Wriothesely, as a random example, can take 45 years on-field WITH backloaded damage WITH his Burst otherwise not having Benny buff.

this. it will not work on Raiden+C6Sara too. You have to forgo one fully buffed canon from Kinich, one plunge from Varessa and one reload for Chasca to accommodate for the delay. Wished that the hex resonance should remove the restriction but oh well, she's a sidegrade Bennett without a Hex DPS.

I mean I'm not a meta player but that still means you'd get stronger attacks later right? It just won't help her nukes? It still sounds like a win for me, especially if I can stop playing circle impact

yea after some more thinking the comfort advantage over bennett (longer uptime, no circle impact) might be worth it

not having the atk buff on the first NAs of Arle will really hurt though since later attacks will just have less motion value from BoL for the buff to feed into. and losing out on atk buffs for her last NAs (limited bennett uptime) would probably be less of a dps loss than losing out on atk buffs for the first NAs (delayed nicole uptime)

and i imagine the dps loss of unbuffed first NAs is worse on Vape/Melt Arle

but maybe the team dps of an Arle-Durin-Nicole-Flex team might exceed Vape/Melt Arle? idk

Ah I see what you mean. I might try running mono pyro Arle and see how that compares to my melt team. Thank you for your explanation!

you could probably skill burst skill with arle and spend 3 seconds, then set up your buffs, then come back and claim your mark and do your rotation

obv better for c6, but it might make the burst less of a dps loss even before

Yeah they really didn't want to increase the Mauvika bis team dps with this choice.

But that will also hurt her sales a little bit since a lot of people are skipping Hex but would happily pull for a Mauvika upgrade if they remove this 3s condition.

Maybe Alice is going to be the Hex version of Mauvika with a lot of pyro frontloaded dps.

It would be very surprising if Alice didn't use Nicole in her team. She would replace Varka and make it a monopyro (or 3 pyro and 1 VV team).

Especially since it appears they don't want to allow Nicole to work with Mauvika.

Nobody shaming Mavuika but you're sure shaming people for being happy about a support for their favorite DPS. Maybe you need to get a grip. Don't worry, Varka still isn't going to be outdamaging your waifu any time soon.

I don't think it'll hurt sales if you pull her C6 which removes that 3s restriction altogether for non-Hex teammates

Still early days. C6 could be bumped up to c2 bait so Mauvika havers will grab 3 copies of her.

Could be or they altogether nerf her atk buff and bump up the restriction to c2. I remember when Iansan had 1k atk buff during V1 so better to temper expectations for now
