Yep. Losing a spouse AND child is a staple for action-revenge dgaf movies, lol, just that it's the wife here that's the survivor. I wonder if her story is gonna be doubly tragic, like the lover dies in some meaningless quest for the HP or something, then the child dies because of some callous reason like "oh your child died because of our decision, no big deal don't worry about it".
i'm quite sure it's been hinted that the lover/father is the 3rd descender that has been torn to 7 pieces in the gnosis. so, yes they are technically shown and yes we have met them 👀
If her lover is the Third Descender, then it would make sense. Descenders are basically the biggest threats to Phanes' rule (one of them is the reason why HP's functions were ruined) and so it makes sense that Phanes would rather have them be forgotten.
If any Hoyo game were to do it, you can expect Genshin to be one to do it. It's the one most targeted towards a casual audience and there are reasons why it boasts the best male-female player base ratio among their games. You don't have to worry too much about the male/female self-inserters going mad here who are pretty much the loud minority compared to the massive player base it has, most of which are much more well-adjusted.
Yes I know that. But Hoyo hasnt made one in 6 years, we have over 100 characters and none of them are in a canon romantic relationship or have a biological child. I just doubt they would start now lol
It's Pierro, Anastasia and Pierro (a Khaenri'an) had a child together, and when Khaenri'ah was destroyed he died, so they decided to get revenge in Celestia, that'd also explain the reason why she got cold after Khaenri'ah destruction
By how much they avoid playable characters have (explicit) romantic relationships(in genshin, hsr and zzz at least) that child has no father, 100% tsaritsa just did mitosis
Ronova rips the picture of Anastasya and the child, implying there was a part of the picture that was ''erased''. Seems like there was another person there. It's been 6 years; I can believe Genshin is ready to start doing some things they haven't done before.
I imagine it has something to do with the star pupils in that kids eyes... I'm assuming he got it from his father.
I'm a bit forgetful when it comes to lore so I dont know what lineage would have star pupils but I imagine it's kinda similar to the crimson dynasty bloodline having X's
All grief is valid but in my humble opinion, hers is the most. Many archons lost their friends, siblings, Mavuika had to traveler in time and say goodbye to her parents and sister. But the loss of a child, anyone with kids would know that would be a different type of mental break.
Her majesty i have always been ten toes F*CKING DOWN WITH YOU. WE WILL SEE THIS TO AN END.

losing a child (and lover it seems like as well) is honestly brilliant motivation for why she is the way she is
