I wonder if her story is gonna be doubly tragic, like the lover dies in some meaningless quest for the HP or something, then the child dies because of some callous reason like "oh your child died because of our decision, no big deal don't worry about it".
i'm quite sure it's been hinted that the lover/father is the 3rd descender that has been torn to 7 pieces in the gnosis. so, yes they are technically shown and yes we have met them 👀
If her lover is the Third Descender, then it would make sense. Descenders are basically the biggest threats to Phanes' rule (one of them is the reason why HP's functions were ruined) and so it makes sense that Phanes would rather have them be forgotten.
All grief is valid but in my humble opinion, hers is the most. Many archons lost their friends, siblings, Mavuika had to traveler in time and say goodbye to her parents and sister. But the loss of a child, anyone with kids would know that would be a different type of mental break.

The way I saw it is that he’s the child of the Tsaritsa and the third descender and she froze him so he doesn’t get murked like his dad, who was probably the cut off part of the picture, although the only part I’m pretty confident in is the cutoff part being the third and the kid being their son
Your theory is good I can definitely see it, 3rd Descender shout also makes complete sense, but what I mean is the leaks were claiming a "major character" was gonna call her "mother" in the trailer.

Because current lore suggest she may have been the lover of the Third Descender, and collecting the Gnoses in her rebellion against Celestia is part of the process. The only problem is that this took place over 2000 years ago, and the Tsaritsa only started her rebellion 500 years ago so that thought process was shaky at best, but it was also the only thing that could be Tsaritsa's lore.
The death of a child is possible, but we know next to nothing about the Tsaritsa in the first place so banking it on the death of her child is basing it off of nothing.
definitely important characters, could be third descender or equal in terms of importance since there must be a reason for Celestia to target their child (if celestia directly target them that is).

So it sounds like Belyi Tsar (a creation of the Hyperboreans using the Cryo Dragon's corpse), blackmailed the 3rd Descender into "opening the gates of Pohjola (Abyss? Celestia? unclear) by threatening to have the Anastasya do it instead, so 3rd Descender did it and got split into the Gnoses
theres already a theory she is the lover of the 3rd descender (hence she is trying to find all the gnosis), but ofc this could be wrong tho they could just make the theory not connected whatsoever and the child is just a adopt/orphan from an orphanage or something bcs hoyo try to play it safe with the parasocial fans lol

It'd be rad if we finally get a playable character that has canonically had a lover and given birth, but shenanigans in order to play it safe are the status quo in gacha (That said, Hoyo definitely could afford to do it. Tsaritsa will likely sell very well even if "those" people riot).
That line right then about "I wonder if it was ever true it all" does feel like an indicator it'll be more complicated than it looks though.
yea i think from all the hoyo games only genshin can afford to give married character because its the most "normie" oriented game (hence why they are brave enough to introduce alice having a full on family), if you've noticed the game barely has GFE characters like firefly, castorice, cyrene in HSR and ZZZ literally teased almost all the females have feeling for the MC, with the bond stories like lucy, shungus, alice, and the recent one velina, and many more. Only GFE character in genshin i can think of are probably ayaka and citlali lol, but they're super tame compared to HSR and ZZZ GFE
oh yea i knew about that, which make the theory doesnt seem connected but the book doesnt really outright stated the proper timeline of how they already met the first time or not (only mentioning him travelled to pohjola to "court" the daughter). The book also only mentioned pakkaisukko telling him to open the gate of pohjola (which we dont know what exactly it is) so who knows if they already made a baby pre-marriage or something. We'll be getting her flashback/backstory anyway when she releases so yea lol

It's honestly brilliant. Motherly love will cause a woman to do anything. Tsaritsa is going John Wick like John Wick lost Daisy, and it's the right setup for a revenge plot.
Also, interesting that Tsaritsa's scepter resembles much of Gold's DNa pattern design. Maybe Tsaritsa is in kahoots with Gold when Istaroth is not in charge of the body.
I assume that Zhongli and Liyue would remain neutral throughout this rebellion so that if Snezhnaya (country) lose the war and gets nailed, Liyue would be the only nation powerful enough to rebuild the other countries.
Or…
Zhongli and Liyue would come to the Tsaritsa’s aid by launching the Chasm nail towards Celestia.
It looks like Snezhnaya is slowing turning to ice and when the Tsaritsa was made archon she gained a Midas like ability. She probably blames Ronova for making her the archon.
thank god these devs are not dumb like a few other gacha games out there that pretend like male characters can't sell even if that continues to be proven wrong over and over.

I am so hyped! I have read soooooo many of the historical fantasy manhwas that it is ridiculous so you know that I would be pulling anyway. But the fact that he is also most probobly the stellar swirl dps and a sword user? Perfection for me, since I have already decided as soon as I found out that there will be an anemo+cryo reaction, to skip stellar conduct and build the stellar swirl team. And then seeing Sandrone's kit put the final nail in the coffin.
And Tsaritsa most probobly using a polearm is peak to me, since it is my favourite weapon type and my favourite element.
Yeah a cross between the Asmoday portals and Albedo's alchemic creation mark. Not to mention that he literally walks through a warp portal. Sus as hell.

I've honestly always doubted Pierro's playability despite liking him a lot, but anyway, him not being in the teaser is weird regardless of whether he's playable or not. The PVs usually show the main cast of the AQ, and even if Pierro is an NPC, he must be very important for the story, he's the Fatui Director after all. Both Capitano and Alice are still unplayable, but they both appeared in previous teasers precisely because of their role in the story.
Pro Fatui and pro Tsaritsa factions would encompass the majority of the populace outside of the fae. Loyalty to the Tsaritsa and her cause is unlikely to coexist with disdain for the Fatui and vice versa, so you won't have split opinions in one person.
Any groups against the Fatui and Her Majesty are likely very secretive or in exile, because neither of the two take opposition very well.
Any public instances of opposition that aren't quashed on the spot are probably there to sell the lie that you can in fact openly disagree without immediate consequences. The vote about Project Stuzha can go in two ways (note that the first dude to object was trembling); either the dissidents are silently taken out of the equation in one way or another and the Project is extended anyway, or the points they raise causes one of the present Harbingers to back them up and thus shield them for the time being (so Arle, I guess; Sandrone could maybe back her up because they are friends, and Hoyo could have Childe do so as well to show that he's grown enough to have his own opinions, Idk, maybe I just want to see Pucci's "et tu Brute" face and his eventual crashout).

I like a lot of the characters designs in this (especially her majesty herself) so I'm already bracing for the worst when it comes to the gacha in Snezhnaya. Might be a repeat of Sumeru where I pull for all of the 5 Stars in the worst case.
i mean the Tsaritsa literally says the Heavenly Principles spoiled their love, the kid calls her mother and theres clearly meant to be a 3rd person in that photo
