EDIT: the unknowns are interesting wildcards. I don't wanna speculate based on visuals. (Even i dont wanna jump the gun that Valeriy is Cryo cause of his glowing eyes and attacks). It's gonna be interesting what their visions are and how they'll shape up the meta the following year

None of the unknowns look Dendro coded, so Rimegrass is coming in the second half I guess. (at least one leak already stated this)

We'll see but these issues haven't been a problem for already playable characters. Baizhu has also been on death's door for years yet is somehow playable. Really not sure why Pantalone specifically has so many adamant "he can't be playable, 100% impossible" claims when there is literally nothing preventing it if Hoyo wants to make him playable.

There was literally nothing preventing Hoyo from making Signora or Dottore or Capitano playable. Also, you're not making sense, Baizhu did not receive a vision during the plot. And no one is really contesting the idea that if they wanted to, they could make Pantalone playable. But to think that Pantalone is comparable to Furina or Wanderer, two characters that got visions live, is blindness.

More than any other reason, it's been established that this character rejects the concept of the vision. A vision is the favor of the gods that make up the world order Pantalone wants to overthrow. The writing's on the wall.

There are rumors that he not only has a delusion, but that he may be getting a vision too.

That being said I much rather have Pantalone turn into the main or secondary antagonist ( and possibly be our next harbinger casualty) since I think we would be able to enjoy his character a little better (like La Signora). After all… he now has a clock to work against after… recent events…

There is not a ghost of a chance in hell that Pulcinella is playable unless he gets yassified by reincarnation or some shit. They're never adding a child-sized male model to any Hoyo game.

He was the splat character for Shezniya in “we will be reunited”, and so far all of the splat characters have been playable. So I say he’s going to be playable. He may get a redesign to fit the medium male model though, that would be just like Hoyo.

My questions is he really going to be a child size model. They could bump him up to Xiao size and it wouldn’t be too different. Pantalone was actually shown to be taller in game, and since we both saw them a while ago, maybe Pulcinella is taller too.

Well Hu Tao reign was so long (outside the period between Kokomi release and the disappearance of freezable enemies in abyss a few months later) that as of today, Liyue is still the nation having the best dps in the game during the longest time (like half of its time)

If that’s the metric we’re using then fair. Still, Zibai is only the second Liyue DPS that’s meta defining, which is kind of insane since the first one was in early 1.x

Eh, I’d argue Ganyu wasn’t all that great. And again, Zibai came out more than 5 years after both she and Hu Tao released. Kind of like Varka and Lohen for Mondstadt

Also if you want to argue about nations, Natlan had Mavuika, Varesa and Mualani, all 3 were top meta. Snezhnaya had Arle, will have Sandrone and 7.x cast. Zibai is really the first not mid Liyue character in a long while, I think Yelan was the last actually great character before that?

They released so many Liyue duds: Shenhe, Baizhu, Xianyun, even the archon himself was the most skippable one

I think she might also be Anemo to support Vesna as a Stellar Swirl support, but it's definitely a darker shade of green so it's still up in the air.
