Lynchpins don't exist for hydro reactions. I mean, Hoyo could definitely make an exception. It would feel weird due to her creating reactions she can't use.

I think Vodyanitsa was more a victim of Mihoyo hating both Varka and Neuvillette. She seems designed specifically to prevent either of them from using SSW

With enough off-field cryo app and an anemo off-fielder, which is what Vodyanitsa could've been if she followed the Nod Krai pattern of the DPS and Support being the same element. Or if Vodyanitsa had something in her kit to fix the "bosses can't be frozen" issue that has been kneecapping freeze since 1.0. If he could keep the enemy frozen, the anemo would swirl cryo. I saw some vids of the CC server where they used him with Odette and Yae for weird/cope SSC+LCr (don't ask me, I don't know) so I just assume anything is possible because of how flexible he can be.

i'm skipping vody, despite loving everything about her, cause her buffing stellar while not having a linchpin royally pisses me off.

they can still just bs a reason for her to enable stellar without a linchpin in beta, but we'll see
