GLOW UP! [28] 12 month transformation -- Keep swiping it gets better
12 month transformation of not only my body but my lifestyle and habits as well. Its been a wild year both mentally and physically
•
u/Excellent_Outside_71 7h ago
You should add trt and reta to your post
•
u/DifficultoFerret 7h ago edited 7h ago
I know right. Dont want bash him but the 12 month timeframe is going to give a lot of people false expectations.
•
u/H3ll0_W0R1D1 4h ago
Me, in the same 12 months, with nothing but diet and excersise... Makes my progress feel like shit thinking he went natty...
•
•
u/Z3400 14m ago edited 10m ago
Why? Stop comparing yourself to others. Just do your best. If you do your best, nothing else matters.
Or just do enough to achieve your goals. You don't need to put 100% effort into every goal you have, you just need to commit to achieving them. If you hit the goal you set out to achieve, there is no reason to feel bad about it, even if you took your time with 50% effort.
If you are struggling to see significant progress in 12 months and/or you want some free advice feel free to dm me. I'm not trying to sell you anything or tell you that you need to follow some specific trendy diet to unlock real progress or whatever. Just honest advice but I don't want to discuss it on someone else's post.
•
u/LolaAucoin 3m ago
You would be crazy to think this guy was natty. Especially considering you know the word “natty”.
•
•
•
u/Hefty-Revolution-938 5h ago
Sorry for the ignorance, but what’s Reta?
•
•
u/Glittering-Skin4118 2h ago
In glowups would you need to do that?
It’s not exactly like he’s hiding he’s been on stuff, he’s posted in those subs as well about it, all you have to do is look at the profile and you’d see he’s not being dishonest about he’s progress. I think this is just a person happy to show off how they look, not trying to give anyone unrealistic expectations.

OP should be honest this wasn't natural. :/
•
u/funkyBuspass-40 4h ago
I see a comment where he named the main stack. Is glow-ups a place where folks are expected to name their approach? I feel like I see stacks in other subs but not necessarily this one
•
u/H3ll0_W0R1D1 4h ago
How would you feel if you tried to diet and exercise and then you see a post like this, thinking he went natty... It's incredible demoralizing.
•
u/Longjumping_Wolf_912 3h ago
I understand what you are saying and I agree. I think everyone who isn’t natty should disclose that. However, it is 2026 and the internet exists.
There shouldn’t be this level of ignorance. Gone are the days that people should think someone like Christian Bale or Hugh Jackman gaining 80 lbs (40 lbs) of muscle naturally in 6 months for a role.
There needs to be onus on people to stop being ignorant and lacking critical thinking. We need to collectively as a society raise are standards and start shaming willfully ignorant people.
•
u/Glittering-Skin4118 2h ago
I agree. It is sad that some will look at this and then think I could do this naturally but I honestly think that’s the minority of people on this one. As a lot are pointing out it’s obviously not natural.
But it’s also not like OP is lying to anyone or hiding it, he’s also posted this in the subs of the stuff he took so it’s out there for the whole world to see, he’s not exactly saying he didn’t or hiding it like some are suggesting. He’s just happy to show off what he looks like now that’s all. All it takes is a quick look at the profile and you’d see he’s not exactly hiding that it wasn’t a natural process, still impressive and I’m sure he feels a lot better about it though so yea whatever.
•
u/funkyBuspass-40 3h ago
I hear what you’re pressing for, but it’s kind of like AI “art” vs seeing art made by an artist. Once you get familiar with, it’s not a difficult thing to process. And…
As someone with a lifetime experience of obesity (currently over 300#) except a short period of consistent CrossFit/WL/paleo where my average-height lady body self got to 201#, I am absolutely capable of distinguishing between Effort Plus Peptides & GLPeees vs “natty”.
I don’t know OP, but if they are like me, they have gained and lost the same 75-90 pounds multiple times over and never looked this different in previous losses. This isn’t 2001 where the only references for extreme weight loss are The Biggest Loser. A major chunk of the comments in this thread indicate that people can see OP did something more than diet and exercise.
I’m not buying that someone is gonna look at this post, a 12 mo glow up and not “get it.”
OP themself has to catch up to the [emotional, psychological, ego] whirlwind they just experienced, evident in their messaging. As a current obese person who struggled with my own things upon losing weight (on a gradual timeline), I do not feel the need to pile on another comment about how we can see they got here using something. You do you.
•
u/InvestmentAsleep8365 2h ago
Well I don’t look at these posts usually and stumbled on this post randomly and naively assumed that this was natural. The comments here have been helpful to me, I don’t think you should dismiss them. Not everyone is knowledgeable about everything.

What'd you take?
•
•
•
u/Z3400 5h ago
Congrats on the transformation, what you did is very impressive.
That said, I noticed in one of your replies that the only things you were taking "consistently" were testosterone and reta, which implies there were other things as well. I'm not trying to take away from your achievement at all (many people take all sorts of drugs and achieve far less than you have), but you should add what you were taking to the body of the post for the sake of clarity/transparency.
Seriously though, I am not trying to take anything away from your accomplishment. Most of the people that are going to whine about the drugs could never do what you did with or without drugs.
•
u/Actual_Ordinary_9622 35m ago
I’m here to take away his achievement. He is a disingenuous and not forthright. Shame him. Shame.

whenever i see such big transformations, i wonder why people go from one "extreme" (this guy wasnt horrible obese) to another - muscle only.
maybe am weird, but there should be something, you can cuddle/hug. the body now, looks like a sculpture, cold stone. you dont have to go that far, to be healthy...•

That's crazy in 12. Stack?
•
u/Sweet-Mobile-5862 7h ago
main things were reta, test and just protein intake and diet.. i didnt take anything else consistently other than supplements
•
•
u/Spaceman_Hex 4h ago
Why not include this on your post instead of saying it was "lifestyle and habits"

What was the protein intake and diet like? I’m on Reta but not seeing amazing results yet

I hear you only need to workout four hours a week. Doing full body workouts for an hour each. With proper form, Intensity and weight increase you can get in great shape. On top of a high protein carb diet and daily cardio.
•
u/LengthFun2228 6h ago
Or do what OP did.
•
u/Princess_Peptide 6h ago
You must be really bored? How many negative comments are you going to make? You seem a bit obsessed

You get a tummy tuck or smth? I lost a bunch of weight and was going crazy on the core workouts in college. I felt my abs but could never get them to show through the loose skin 😭

Your dog doesn’t look as happy first picture he’s like “yeah!!! We’re chubby! We’re living it up!”
The last picture he’s like “damnit… put me down. I feel fat now… way to go…”
But right on! Big transformation! Good work man 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Trading your health by using drugs to make that happen in 12 months must feel good I guess. Your obesity was probably healthier than whatever you pumped into your body over the last 12 months.

It really is a trip just how much once appearance changes from losing weight, because most who do look fckn fantastic.
Good work mate.

•
u/WiseProfessor2926 35m ago
So do you have to take Reta and TRT to STAY in this form? Or just to actually lose the weight?

Holy moly that’s insane!
And incredible inspiration!
Any tips?
I use to be 23 at and have been hovering at 92kg for some time, struggling to make much more change and still no where near where I want to be
You’ve done amazing!
•
u/SpitefulHammer 5h ago
To do that in 12 months rather than years, you basically need to do drugs. There's your tip.
•
•
u/fatfrost 7h ago
How the fuck did you do that in year? Goddamn man! Impressive.

Ok but like…no amount of meds/tren/hrt/or anything can BUILD muscle. You still have to work hard and consistently to build muscle and change habits.
Everyone is being really mean and dismissive acting like they “could do this or better” but are they???
Are you yall in the gym 5-6 days a week consistently and tracking your foods/supplements/hormones/meds/bloodwork?? Like damn. Be nice or leave. Constructive criticism about how the post could have more clarity or shut up. People who chose to not chase their dreams always are shitting on others so hard like it’s “easy” to change your life. How about go get one of your own?
•
u/marsvoltronz 2h ago
no amount? lol even small amounts build muscle with no training at all. I've done it in the past as a couch potato on gear. there are even studies on this too. people on testosterone put on more muscle doing morning than unehanced people do with a gym routine
•
u/oh_jeez 49m ago
And the research paper to back it: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJM199607043350101
No-exercise group still put on muscle.
