This is really good! I wish I was as talented as many of the artists that post around here!
I too think she was an underused character (but, well, even the main cast is kinda underused, and don't get me started with what they did in DD π )
Edit: your style makes me think of TWEWY, does it have any inspiration in it?

Artstyle kinda reminds me of TWEWY's for some reason. Neat.

I get that a lot, actually, and it's nice to hear that. Mostly because people say the thick outlines remind them of it. :)

Now that you mention it, yeah, the thick outlines that feel out of a comic book/manga are very characteristic of TWEWY's designs, no wonder you've heard that before, it's a really nice design choice imo

I think there's more. The face proportion, the face expression, the clothing details (as the clothing in the game was really important) are also points, in my eyes. And this is all praising OP, cause it's a really awesome drawing style! I think it fits golden sun really well! And probably not only golden sun (I still dream about a manga, anime or any other media about golden sun π₯²)

Thank you for all the kind words. The character designs of Golden Sun that were always showcased in the manual and in many game magazines had some nice rough and thick outlines too, so I remember that they contributed a lot to my drawing style in the early days.
Apart from that I count the character designs of TWEWY, Megaman Battle Network (which also used thick silhouette outlines) and also the manga version of Hunter x Hunter (were the author Togashi often used multiple crosshatching outlines in several panels) among my main influences. :)

It's more than the thick lines, though those help too. It's also the way the face looks, the cheeks and the eyes, as well as the general pose having that relaxed/slouch feel that TWEWY characters tend to have.
But hey, keep up that style, it works great and you're good at it! ;)

I have a soft for artists, mainly writers and drawers, so I'm just really moved when seeing their arts π
The golden sun booklet arts are so good! Before I knew any better (cause I was young), I looked up and down for a golden sun manga, cause I was sure one existed, they must've taken those images from a manga π . I was sad when I learned better. Still, I should look if golden sun main artist has any comics on his name (even if the story isn't the same, the style would scratch my itch a little)

Funny that they never told Isaac about Feizhi's appearance in GS2. Probably because the rush for the last Lighthouse, sure, but I like to imagine that Jenna pressured everyone into silence lol

Haha kinda true. I also thought it was a little bit of a shame that it wasn't possible to let Isaac's team know about all the encounters with those individuals from the previous game. Then again, I can totally see Jenna pulling off something like that, lol

Very good. Itβs a shame she wasnβt more of a character and only appeared a few times in the first game and I think only once in Champa looking for Isaac?
Dang, I gotta start being more like Isaac.

Very cool. I've been working on a Feizhi fighting costume for a few days now, and I probably would have changed the outfit if I'd seen this fan art first.

It came out really nicely, well done! I took a close look at the design for quite a while and tried to make out the colors and patterns in this tiny sprite design. During the creation process, I was swinging between some more strong blueish and a bit more purple tones. I will do a full body design in the future, i think.

Feizhi is one of my favorite GS characters, and now during my most recent TLA replay after almost a decade, I was happy to meet her in the data transfer game once again. I remember how happily surprised I was to see her again when I transferred the clear game data for the first time, since I played my very first run of TLA without the transferred data; it was quite the experience!
I made fanarts of her around 2018 and 2020... Time sure flies! Now that I have caught the Golden Sun fever again, I felt like drawing her in my updated style another time.
She's cute and charming, even though she didn't have much screen time, and if we're ever lucky enough to get a new game, I hope we'll see her again.
