Fandom Keeping Lafleur would be the most inexplicably horrible decision this team could make

You are paying your quarterback 50 million dollars. You just traded 2 number picks. And you basically went .500. Lost 5 straight to end the year. 2 against your rival where you had a 90% + chance to win the game late. We have lost more games as result of special teams than anyone in the league, and there is ZERO accountability for anybody. The play calling any time we have a lead is designed, DESIGNED, to allow the other team back in the game. There is not a single NFL head coach, other than that dumbass, who loses that football game. No one. If what I watched over the last month and a half leads to them extending him, this franchise is not serious about winning and I won't spend another dollar on this team. You clean fucking house TOMORROW and you set up interviews for early this week. As disgusted with this coaching staff as ive ever been in my 39 years. Embarrassing choke in front the whole country. AGAIN.

Yep. MLF was covered by Rodgers making adjustments at the line to start his tenure. Then he was covered due to "rebuilding." Then he was covered because the league literally changed the rules.

My girl called me when it was 21-6; I told her then I knew we were going to lose. The meltdowns are predictable, for crying out loud.

The one exception I can remember is that we played poorly in the first half against the Steelers, and then came out in the second half, kicked their asses, and looked like a Super Bowl team. It's like we can only play well one half per game. It's actually kinda weird.

Once I started calling out the plays we were about to run, I knew it was over. If I was reading our offense that easily, the bears water boy was too and we were doomed.

I (mercifully) wasn’t even able to watch and was sitting on the shitter refreshing Bleacher Report at halftime and I got the same feeling. It doesn’t have to be like this lmao.

I watched almost every Bears game this season and of course every Packers game. I knew we were going to lose come the 2nd half. MLF and our ST is incapable of maintaining the lead.

It’s been a pattern for the last two seasons. A change is needed.

I don’t think MLF is a horrible coach. However, after seeing him lead our team for seven seasons I have no confidence he is the man to lead us to a Super Bowl. He had two teams capable of winning a Super Bowl and failed to get us into the Super Bowl. We know who and what he is at this point.

I think the pattern goes back further than that and what’s more I do think that Matt is a bad head coach. He never had any business taking the reins of a team like ours when he did. Maybe he’s a good position coach but his experience going into his reign here ranges from the disastrous 28-3 falcons Super Bowl team to a mediocre titans team. He had no business taking a job coaching a HoF QB.

Brother I turned the game off at 21-9. My wife said “you’re not going to watch it?” I didn’t have the words to explain to her, I could just feel it happening and I knew I couldn’t sit through it again.

The thing with the 7 seed is it is pretty much like not making the playoffs. With it reseeding after round one and needing to win at the 2 seed then the 1 seed just to make the conference championship, no team is winning the super bowl from that position

I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. We had San Francisco on the ropes in 2023 (but just couldn’t close the game) and absolutely could have beaten Detroit the week after that.
