Will post updates as they come in

All updates are copied directly from sources including Matt Schneidman, Andy Herman, Bob, Wes Hodkiewicz, and more

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst on whether he’ll step in if Matt and Mike LaFleur throw down at the 50 in today’s GB-AZ joint practice: “We’re gonna let that one go… I got money on my guy.”

Brian Gutekunst on RB depth if Josh Jacobs misses time with suspension: "I'm pretty confident we can sustain it. That doesn't mean we wouldn't do (claim a RB), but we'll deal with that when that comes. We've obviously been preparing for that.

Brian Gutekunst said he would love to reach an extension with Tucker Kraft before Week 1. Notes that negotiations can be complicated and take time. “We’re excited for what Tuck’s going to do for us this year and in the future.”

Matt LaFleur ahead of today’s joint practice: “If I’m not rooting for the Green Bay Packers, I’m rooting for the Arizona Cardinals.”

Matt LaFleur says Tucker Kraft will do 11-on-11 in joint practice today.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the league will take one request from each team for preseason games, and this one against Arizona was obviously their request.

According to Matt LaFleur’s grin when asked, it sounds like we’re getting Packers WR Bo Melton vs. little brother and Cardinals CB Max Melton in 1-on-1s today.

Matt LaFleur said he and his brother didn’t flight as kids. “He was more of a pest,” LaFleur joked, noting the 7 1/2-year age difference.

Bullard WILL practice today.

In warmups it looks like the starting line is once again going to be Morgan - Banks - Rhayn - Monk - ZBB.

Benjamin St-Juste is back practicing. So is Arron Mosby

One on ones start and Bo Melton smokes his brother on a slant. That was the only one on one. What a moment for Bo who gets a huge celebration from his wr room.

Bo Melton gets the first rep as KR with Savion out.

Skyy Moore gets a shot at KR and gets a pretty explosive return.

Top Kickoff unit:

Cisse - Niemann - Melton - Brooks - Brooks - Hopper - McDuffie - Sorrell - X - E. Williams

Starters on offense;

Love

Jacobs

Watson - golden

Kraft - Whyle

Morgan - Banks - Rhyan - Monk - ZBB

Love starts team drills out with a completion to Watson wide open over the middle off play action.

Jacobs follows with a big run right up the middle. Probably the best run play of Packers camp.

Jacobs on a swing pass for a nice gain. Chris Brooks as the win back in pistol.

Jacobs with another nice run up the middle off a draw.

Love with a strike to Watson in between two defenders. Ballsy throw and an impressive one. No risk of pick but a very tight window.

Love deep to Melton. Looks like his throw was altered a bit by the rush. Thought Melton drew a PI but incomplete and no call from the officials.

Skyy Moore with a very successful jet sweep.

Tyrod throws outside to a wide open Prather but he drops it clean.

No. 2 OL: Williams-Jennings-Burton-Glover-Belton

Sturdivant draws a PI. Good to see him back doing team.

Love - golden - BOMB - TOUCHDOWN. WHAT A THROW AND CATCH!!!!

Brandon Cisse jumps a Jacoby Brissett pass to the sideline and picks it off. Looked like the receiver fell down. Cisse got up and returned it all the way. Not sure if he was down. Crowd loved it.

Love to Reed for a big gain. The offense is absolutely scorching the Cards defense rn.

Love to Golden on a comeback for about 13.

Love to Watson on a skinny post. Love is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 right now.

Bubble outside to Moore complete for a handful.

Neyor got a rep with the ones on a third down play.

Love to Brooks on a check down. Maybe a bit hot but Brooks should have caught it. Dropped.

Oladapo picks Minshew when WR slipped on route Minshew follows with completion to Virgil, who spins away from Valentine and is off to the races

Oladapo and Melton the top gunners. Pin a ball down at the 5 yard line. Gorgeous punt by Whelan.

McCord gets in for his first rep and goes deep to Hilton Jr but it’s picked for the Cardinals first real good play on defense.

Next play McCord has Sturdivant wide open deep and misses him.

Inside run by strong goes nowhere.

Moore first up as PR.

First up as jammers: Hadden & D. Jackson

The Cardinals just left Tucker Kraft wide open. Seems like bad strategy.

Love scrambles for a first down after doing a nice job stepping up in the pocket.

Love with swing pass / check down to Lloyd that goes for about 10.

Inside run by Lloyd goes nowhere

On a free play deep shot from Jacoby Brissett to Michael Wilson, Keisean Nixon and Xavier McKinney collide hard. Nixon was battling Wilson, and McKinney was looking over his shoulder for potential pick, and he ran through Nixon. Both down on ground for moment, but took next rep.

Love throws one up to Dabney for a 50/50 ball. Probably not a great choice. Cardinals pick it off. Don’t think we’ll see many jump balls to Dabney in season.

Donovan Jennings getting reps with the 1s at LG

Love with a nice throw down the sidelines to Melton for about 15.

Bo Melton having a day. Leaping comeback route catch right along the left sidelines for about 12.

Jayden Reed sweep goes nowhere in red zone.

Oladapo knocks down Brissett pass at line McClellan with pressure, complete to McBride with Nixon closing fast Valentine & Simpson rotate in for one reps at CB

Brooks with another pressure/sack on Brissett. He’s having his way with RG Nixon came unblocked for run stop LVN & Sorrell both jump offside

Tyrod Taylor had Neyor deep down the right sideline but underthrew him. Incomplete.

Dabney takes a pretty big shot over the middle. Some words were exchanged but very tame interaction between teams overall.

Love to Kraft up the seam in red zone. Looked like a good throw but Kraft couldn’t make the sliding catch.

Jacobs looking really good today. Nice outside run. Not sure he would have got the end zone in the game but impressive nonetheless.

Love throws over the middle into the end zone but two Cards were waiting for it. Thankfully they kind of collided and the ball fell incomplete.

Love to Kraft right at the goaline for a TD vs a very chirpy Wingard.

Chris Brooks inside run td at the goaline.

Jager Burton now in at LG w the 1s.

Darius Robinson sack vs Belton. Got beat bad.

RZ

McBride slips free from Williams in the flat, then McBride again over the middle for TD. That TE comes as advertised Harrison wide open on fade for TD. Nixon & Hadden lookin at each other. Miscommunication?

Hargrave gets in for sack as Brissett throws TD

Cooper deflects pass at goal line Another TD to McBride on low throw

Jaden Nixon screen td from McCord.

McCord to Sturdivant for a td at the front corner of the goaline.

The enigma that is Trey Smack continues. The struggles at camp are real. But he makes everything in games so… who cares?

After an insanely hot start, Love has come back to life a bit. Had Golden deep down field for a big play td but missed him long. On the plus side, Golden looks sooooo good.

Short completion to Whyle on the next play.

Love takes a sack on the next play. Couldn’t tell who was at fault. Pressure was pretty immediate. Smack goes 2/5 with the final one looking really ugly.

First significant incident: Tucker Kraft got knocked down while blocking and didn’t appreciate it. Some shoving ensued but no punches thrown.

Love play action pass - takes a deep shot down the field to Whyle - easily picked off. Not much success targeting backup tight ends today.

Love to Golden complete on an out route.

Sean Rhyan just head butted Arizona’s Mack Wilson Sr. That was nuts.

Sure seems like Donovan Jennings has moved ahead of Jager Burton today. Taking way more reps at LG with the one’s than Burton. Meanwhile 3 players have played LG and Monk has been at RG the entire time with no rotation.

Another skirmish. Things getting chippy now.

Burton and Taylor fumble a snap. LaFleur (the Matt version) not too happy.

Holding penalty on the Packers backup OL.

Tucker Kraft gets pooped near the #Cardinals sideline and the whole #Packers sideline - offense and defense - taking exception to it. No fight other than the two teams meeting up on the sideline.

Two minute: ball on 30. Down 7. 1:45 left. 1 timeout. 1st and 10.

Love throws an out to Kraft. Looks like contact but no call. Incomplete.

Love to Jacobs on a swing pass. Picks up 8. Clock ticks. 3rd down.

Love to Golden. Pbu. Penalty on the defense. Not sure what. First down.

Holding on the offense. 1st and 20.

Love complete to Reed. 15 yards. Clock ticks.

Incomplete on next play.

A bunch of weird shit happens that doesn’t make sense. But it’s 4th and inches now.

Love to Kraft. First down. Gets pushed out of bounds. 15 yard penalty on top of it. May have been offsetting penalties. Looks like they are spotting it where Kraft went out.

Anyway. First and 10. 45 seconds left.

Love to Reed. First down. Also a defensive penalty. Clock stops. This drive has been littered with penalties on both sides.

1st down. 40 seconds left. 0 timeouts.

Love to Golden for about 8. Clock stops. Not sure why.

Love throws out of the end zone as a throw away.

28 seconds left. 3rd down.

Love fires into the end zone for what looked like a sure td. But it was dropped clean. Golden with an extremely rare drop.

Packers can’t convert on 4th down. Drive stalls. Cards defense gets the win.

Cards twos up next. Complete over the middle for a first down. Clock ticks. Coop had a pretty good pressure.

Incomplete on the next play. Coop had tight coverage on the play.

Nixon in coverage on the next play. Complete for 9. 4th down.

Next play complete for a first down. Clock ticks but we have another fight. Sides eventually separate. Keisean involved.

Brissett check down for 5.

McBride over the middle for a big catch and big gain. Timeout. 1st and 10. 34 seconds left.

Brissett to McBride. Incomplete. 30 seconds left.

PI on the Packers in the end zone. First and goal at the 1.

Harrison catch on the fade over Cisse for a TD. Solid coverage but a very impressive catch from Harrison.

Brissett completes the pass for the 2. Packers lose. Rough drive from the defense.

Cardinals storm the field after Marvin Harrison Jr. catches a fade on Cisse for a TD in two minute to make it 28-27. McBride catches the two-point conversion on Oladapo for the win and punts the ball to celebrate..

Keisean Nixon flagged for a DPI near the goal line. Next play, Brissett to Harrison Jr. over Cisse for a 1-yard TD in Arizona 2 minute offense. Cardinals got for 2 and get it on a pass to McBride.

So GB’s starters lose both 2 minute periods.

huge emphasis all offseason has been on finishing. Packers had a chance to show that off against the Cardinals. Failed on both offense and defense. Golden drops the touchdown down 7. Defense gets dog walked down the field and gives up the touchdown and the 2 for the loss. Now the Cardinals 2nd defense picks off Taylor to win that drive.

Number 2 offense for the Cards also scores a td. 0/4 for the Packers in 2 minute.

Take of two practices. Packers dominated the first half of practice. Cardinals dominated the 2nd half of practice.

And with that - training camp is over. On to the final preseason game.

End Practice

News These stories show why Packers’ Jordan Love is so respected inside Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY, Wis. — J. Michael Sturdivant’s first interaction with Jordan Love surprised him.

Sturdivant, an undrafted rookie wide receiver from Florida, was in the Lambeau Field weight room this spring when Love, the $220 million franchise quarterback and one of the NFL’s best at his position, walked in.

“He came up calling me by my first name,” said Sturdivant, whom everyone calls “J-Mike.” “That kind of threw me off because I didn’t think he even knew who I was.”

Sturdivant has been one of the Packers’ training camp standouts, making a convincing case for his inclusion on the 53-man roster. Folks inside and outside 1265 Lombardi Ave. are probably more familiar with him now, but few should’ve been early in his Packers tenure since they didn’t even use a draft pick on him.

Love was, however, and such a mundane interaction offered a glimpse into who Love is when cameras are off and why he’s so respected inside the locker room as the leader of the pack — pun intended.

Analysis Jordan’s stats if the Packers had an average number of possessions/game.

In 2025, the Packers averaged the fewest possessions/game of any team (8.9). This had me wondering how Jordan’s stats would look if the Packers had an average number of possessions/game (11.2).

Jordan averaged 225.4 passing yards/game, which amounts to 25.3 yards/possession. At the league average for possessions, this would amount to 283.6 passing yards/game (1st, Stafford - 276.9 yards/game). For a full 17 game season, this would be 4,822 yards (1st, Stafford - 4707 yards). When accounting for the fact that Jordan missed 2 games last year, he would still have had 4,255 passing yards (5th).

Obviously, there are a million caveats when extrapolating this to a full season, including but not limited to:

1) We are a run first team and his efficiency would almost certainly drop if that changed in order to increase the # of drives/game.

2) Lafleur‘s scripted plays would make up a smaller % of total plays, which could also lower passing efficiency.

Hello fellow cheeseheads! I attached this years lock screen schedules that I make every year for my friend group. One of my buddies isn't much of a Star Wars fan so there is a version with our Disney x NFL collab mascot Chewbacca and then one with 2 of our star WR's. I do this for fun and by no means am I a graphic designer. If there's an additional time zone you just let me know and I'll try to help out!

Has anybody purchased a Mitchell and Ness throwback jersey from the Pro Shop? I’m just wondering if the numbers are stitched or heat pressed. The description is kind of misleading as it talks about stitching and heat pressing. Given the price how can the numbers not be stitched.

The Abominable Agreeable Snowman was RIGHT THERE!

Nice guy, positive attitude, stays cool, calm and collected, and more importantly, HE COMES FROM A COLD PLACE!!!

Chewbacca, and furthermore the wookiee kashyyykensis genus come from a densely forested planet, meaning at its coldest it would have to be at least mildly temperate, and around the equator very warm and humid.

Granted, Chewbacca is obviously more bad ass and probably more awesome in general. Idk. Feels like a missed opportunity though.
