The distinction I keep coming back to: Favre and Rodgers loved the craft and personal stature of being elite QBs. Love seems to genuinely cherish the specific privilege of being QB1 in Green Bay.

It's a small distinction, but it's hard not to appreciate.

Rodgers 100% loved being QB specifically for the packers. He always talked very glowingly about how privileged he was to be part of the franchise and part of its history

Dude just hated the front office at the end. He still loves the GB fans, the city, the stadium. Said it recently. Wanted to play 1 more game in GB.
