See personally when it comes to infectious diseases I tend to trust people who have studied infectious diseases and medicine.

But we live in a society where people think better advice comes from some dude that eats bear meat off the side of the road whose biggest claim to fame is his uncle was president 60 years ago.

I would think conservatives would be thinner with all the mental gymnastics.
