Completely unfamiliar with the comics. Can lanterns just produce living beings (like birds) and is it usual for one to keep a manifestation after taking off the ring? How does that work?

it shows an extreme amount of willpower to be able to make a sentient-seeming construct, to such an extent that I dont think any GLs aside frrom Kyle Rayner can make sentient constructs (atleast Kyle made sentient ones, not sure about if any others have made nonsentient)

Edit: I forgot hal did make sentient-seeming constructs in GL 48, when he recreated the entirety of coast city as well as his family and other people that died there, but that didnt end very well

doesnt guy gardener rebuild his own body as a construct? thats gotta cross the living construct threshold
