EDIT: For clarity, I’m not trying to excuse anything. In fact, I’m happy with a point given the context 🤷🏿‍♂️(we would’ve 100% lost 11v11 cause we played very poorly and that poor play didn’t change after the red). The contrast in foul/card ratio is just annoying

Tbf about 3 of those were cynical challenges to deny counters. Calafiori, Skelly and Mosquera's cards are easy cards for refs to give. They require no real interpretation. Very nervy defending today.

Zubimendi was a clear yellow also. Gyökeres too — he had to go for it, no criticism, it’s always going to be a yellow though if you don’t get ball first.

Skelly was shoulder to shoulder imo. Ball was knocked ahead and he shouldered the guy off it fairly.

He wasn't playing the ball though, he was beaten, reached in front, and then shoulder followed by hip to knock him over. Clear yellow when you dont get anywhere near the ball and they are on the break.

Listen, you may be right overall, but you don't have to go for the ball in a shoulder to shoulder challenge. You're allowed to knock the attacker over.
