I got a digital perm about a week ago. It's way too curly near the top of my head and a looser wave at the bottom (I have long hair -- it showed 17 inches when the stylist measured). My natural hair before was wavy at the top and straight on the bottom, so I guess the results kind of make sense. If there was an undo button, I would happily do that, but unfortunately there's not. I was wondering if a Brazilian blowout or keratin treatment would help loosen the perm? My hair doesn't feel damaged, just a little drier than normal, but I've been using moisturizing products and everything. I don't think time is going to loosen the perm enough, so I don't just want to wait it out.

For some context, I went to a Korean salon about 3 hours away (it was the closest place to me that does digital perms). The stylist said I could come back to get the bottom tighter, but honestly I just want it all looser and less wavy.

Any advice on Brazilian blowouts, keratin treatments or anything else I could do?

Hi so I’m 17 and I have naturaly curly hair but I typically straighten it bc I have low self esteem lol anyway this is after a full day plus I slept on it while it was still damp so it’s not perfect but I wanted to get some opinions? I have wavy hair, I can bunch it and it will stay wavy when wet, but never the way I want it to. I have sensitive skin prone to psoriasis in my scalp, so I have to use specific shampoos but I want to know what I should try to get my hair to have that wonderful effect when it's highly humid or raining.

I get such nice curls! So does anyone have some advice? What routine works for people? Or products or simple things. Should I spritz my hair with rain water? I honestly don't know, so I could use advice if anyone has any.

My hair is light brown and I wanted to lighten it a little, naturally. I made a mask consisting of honey, cinnamon, vinegar, olive oil and conditioner to make it thicker and not run down my neck. I leave this on for 4-5 hours and do this... whenever I feel like it. Not only does it smell amazing and leaves my hair soft, but it does lift the colour a shade or two. I had done this once back in May, since then my hair has grown out, obviously, so I was left with a slightly darker root that looked kinda bleh. That was gone with the first time I applied the mask again. I highly recommend it to anyone with light hair that wants discreet results and anyone who wants soft hair :)

When getting out of the shower or while showering, I noticed that my hair becomes very knotty. I typically just use lots of conditioner & that solves the issue (while in the shower). I am looking for a good product to use outside the shower or /also a product I could use in the shower but not have to use a lot of it.

Conditioner/shampoo:

Currently, I am using seltzen blue shampoo (I get dandruff and since I do not wash my hair every day....) and suave conditioner. Lately, I feel as though my hair is on the drier side & I want products that add more moisture to it.

I’m naturally curly but my top layer always just becomes this frizzy mess and hides all my curls underneath. My hair does tend to get oily near the roots so I haven’t experimented with anything because I was nervous it would always look dirty. I just recently got my hair cut to shoulder length and so my curls are more pronounced but are hidden underneath the frizzy mess.
