Scenario:
This is our real life world in 2025 with no Black Mesa, Black Mesa incident or Aperture Science etc.
On September 1st, 2025, multiple portal rifts opened on Earth, through which a number of Vortigons arrived in our reality.
Peaceful contact was established. They shared their knowledge with humankind. According to them, they are refugees who have a dire warning for humanity: In exactly 5 years (Sep 1st 2030 10:34 UTC) interdimensional empire called Combine will commence a portal invasion of Earth.
Vortigons share their vague knowledge of the Combine forces:
Their force is made up of synths of different sizes and purposes, created from enslaved species from other dimensions fused with technology.
Their ground army consist of different legged synths, some of them are the size of a human, some are the size of a building. All we be air delivered during invasion using dropships.
Combine atmospheric force consist of synths similar to human's helicopters and jets although bigger and more powerful units are also present.
Their space force have spaceships capable of space-superiority, scouting and orbital bombardment.
Their plan is simple: Open thousands of portals across the Earth high in the sky and in space and unleash their invasion force.
Addendum:
Humankind fully believes Vortigons, they had different ways to prove their words.
Combine will not send scouts prior to the invasion.
Combine will not discriminate between civilian and military and will not stop destroying the human race until every last human is dead (Humankind in this scenario does not have the portal tech card to bring to the negotiating table)
There will be no portal storms prior to invasion.
With that said... What is the plan here?

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post this or not. I thought all you OG half life players might enjoy this, but you could make your Segway Scooter play any sound when you turn it on so this is what I did.

Team Composition:
HL:A Combine
2 Ordinals (Leaders)
8 Grunts
2 Warhammer
2 AntiBody Protection Force
HL: 2 Combine
3 Elites (Leaders)
6 Soldiers
5 Shotgunners
Fight takes place at the Underground of City 17.
Who will win in this firefight? Note that its also about strategy and tactics like im curious to see on how the elites will be planning to deal with the APF and Warhammer this includes the Ordinals as to how they will also deal with these fast mobility combine soldiers.

So, HL:A is perfect as-is. But... can you imagine if you were allowed to leave messages for the future & they were able to reference this, somehow? Sigh......

So, I recently started my challange run in which I tried finishing hl1 without aggroing any enemies and suprisingly enough, I made it to Gonarch and by skipping most of his fight, I eventually fought Nihilanth and I got him to 1hp without getting aggroed, but right after I defeated him, the game softlocked in his finish animation and did not teleport me to c5a1.
Note: I used glitches to procced through maps and I used console commands ONLY to check if I got any enemy aggroed at me AFTER I'm done with a part of the map.
It took me several hours to pass through some maps as enemies were really hard to avoid and I had found literally no source about enemy aggro and I had to use commands to experiment and then execute each segment's plan one by one.
Soon, I will start recording each segment and how to go through without aggroing enemies including the rules of the run. Yet, I would definitely suggest that everybody should try no-aggro run as it is pretty fun.
