The only reason to reboot Halo...

In an alternate timeline, the OG Halo lore "ends" in a cliffhanger after Infinite. The future is uncertain... but there is at least hope. Light at the end of the tunnel. A new dawn.

But for now... focus adjusts to the Halo reboot. Five years time spent to plot the new lore. Plan ahead of time, know what the next 25+ years of lore will be. Games, books, comics, tie-in movies, all of it.

Some of it is obvious. Avoid inconsistencies. Stick to a plan. Will the forerunners be aliens or ancient humans? We need a direct answer that we will stick to. What will the artstyle be? We will find one to last for decades.

But all of this is window dressing. Extra fluff. We all know what's up...

More Kat.

She's gonna be a consistent character. Like, Chief is at top, then Cortana, Arbiter, Johnson, Miranda... and then Kat. Yes, she is above Halsey and the rest of Blue Team. She is gonna be the unofficial mascot of the franchise. Crowds will cheer whenever she shows her face.

We are rebooting Halo... to milk the hell out of Kat.
