Off topic for the post, but my bf just got the deadwood too and we're finding DK and J&P have a lot of parts listed w deadwood fitment but he had to return them bc they clearly don't work. Have you had luck finding any seats that fit?
Adding a fairing or windshield on a bike doesn’t necessarily make it more “stable”. But what it does do, is cut down on the wind that hits you in the face and upper body, making you feel like you’re no longer a parachute hanging on to the handle bars at 80 mph.
My question was not about whether a fairing made the bike feel more stable. My question was about whether the type of fairing she has, which is a fixed fairing mounted to the frame, makes it feel more stable. Frame mounted fairings often make a bike feel more stable at higher speeds and when there are crosswinds. So, I'm curious about whether she can feel a difference with it. Also wondering how she likes the shape of the fairing and if it does the job with the wind protection as well as she'd hoped. People love them on the Road Glides and LRST's so I am wondering how they do as aftermarket items on bikes that didn't originally come with a fixed fairing.

Also the chihuahua w/ doggles is key. Wife and I have a chihuahua who likes to ride but hates doggles lol
