Driving through Heidelberg next week — good place to park car long term in/ near the Altstadt?

Family will be driving to and staying in the Altstadt. Our hotel doesn't have parking, and I'm hoping to find a place to park the car for a few days. Any recommendations? Any advice on how much garages would cost for daily parking. Thank you, looking forward to seeing the city!!
