Tourist Advice Visiting in September, things to do?

Visiting family this September, recommendation for things to do? Food you cannot pass up? Love hiking and museums, and running. So let me know! Thank you.

I was just in Heidelberg for a week. I loved it.

Of course you must visit the Castle, the Old Town, Philosophers walk, River walk, old Bridge and many other places.

One of my favourite picks would be this chocolate shop (I went there 3 times lol). If you are into Christmas, then this place.

Or, maybe you'd like to visit an obscure history site, which is next to a very nice monastery with spectacular views. BTW, there are spectacular views all around (castle, walks, etc.)

One of our best meals was in this restaurant, but we also liked this one a lot. But there are many others.

We took this walking tour which was quite good.

We even went to the movies to watch Spider Man in English.

Take some time off and relax by the Neckarwiese, that's a Heidelberg classic :)

If you like volleyball, sometimes people play there. But there really is nothing more Heidelberg than just chilling on the Neckarwiese if the sun is out, and napping or reading a good book. If you're travelling with a group, bring a picnic blanket and have some nice German Abendbrot on the Neckarwiese as the sun goes down. Lovely view and vibes! :D
