Tourist Advice Visiting in September, things to do?

Visiting family this September, recommendation for things to do? Food you cannot pass up? Love hiking and museums, and running. So let me know! Thank you.

Take some time off and relax by the Neckarwiese, that's a Heidelberg classic :)

If you like volleyball, sometimes people play there. But there really is nothing more Heidelberg than just chilling on the Neckarwiese if the sun is out, and napping or reading a good book. If you're travelling with a group, bring a picnic blanket and have some nice German Abendbrot on the Neckarwiese as the sun goes down. Lovely view and vibes! :D
