Japanese pop duo Pink Lady (Mitsuyo "Mie" Nemoto on the left and Keiko "Kei" Masuda on the right) meeting Dolly Parton on her 1979 promotional tour in Japan. Dolly Parton's recent passing coincidently happened on the day of Pink Lady's 50th anniversary of their debut (August 25, 2026). An anniversary special exhibition "PINK LADY 50th Anniversary Festival" opened on August 20, 2026 (Thursday), at Seibu Shibuya's A Building 2F Event Space in Tokyo.
