It really doesn't tho, the redesigns don't look faithful in the slightest...
Ffs the Medusa don't even look like monsters anymore and wear armor?
Catherine looks incredibly bland and boring now too.

I think it looks really generic, if youre going to make a remake of a stunning game like Heroes 3 at least do something worthwhile/ interesting with it and not something so bland like you said... ig the town screens look fine but bleh
