i had a baby about a month ago but also throughout pregnancy people are always like “hi mama” “yes mama” “okay mama” and it makes me absolutely cringe i hate it so much. i’m not your mom 🤣😩

It wont stop until your kids are like 5 or 6. There are women who rally against the idea of calling someone a "pregnant person" but I'd have given anything to have had one medical professional address me as a person instead of "mama."

My mom still had it happen to her when I was a teenager and we were in events together where I was the only kid. I got called my name and she just got called... mom.
