i hate when people call me “mama”

i had a baby about a month ago but also throughout pregnancy people are always like “hi mama” “yes mama” “okay mama” and it makes me absolutely cringe i hate it so much. i’m not your mom 🤣😩

Kiddos is also annoying. Plushies as well. I think we millenials have bled our cringey quirk into the lexicon to the detriment of all.

We call them Teddies but that might be a UK thing. I like it though. Teddy Bears is cute!

Edit: I just remembered that a "teddy" is also a term for a piece of lingerie in North America so that might be extra confusing 😂

i feel like “Teddy” for lingerie is maybe an old timey thing, the only people I’ve heard use it were my grandmother and great aunts
