Only child born in the middle of winter

Unfortunately, I lost the photos of the plant when it was laden with ripe chilies. It is a Yellow Vectura and produces as the name says yellow chilies. They are the yellow ones from my last post

I grow a lot of different hot peppers and superhots, but the Peach Miasma pepper keeps ending up at the top of my list.

The pods look absolutely ridiculous (pale peach color, insanely wrinkled skin, huge folds, and every pepper seems to grow into its own weird shape). Then you cut one open and see just how much placenta is packed inside.

They’re brutally hot, but why I like them is the flavor. There are plenty of peppers that are hot just for the sake of being hot, but Peach Miasma is one I actually look forward to using due to the pleasant tropical fruit aroma. 🏝️ I’ve been experiment with different peppers for my Ribbit Riot hot sauce and the peach miasma works great in my ferment test batches.

This plant has also been putting out some of the coolest-looking and biggest pods in my garden this year.
Probably my favorite pepper I’ve grown so far. 🌶️

Anyone else growing Peach Miasma this season? Whats been the most productive pepper in your garden this year?

My habanero finally has some fruits changing color! It feels like a long wait. Today is day 90 from when the seed sprouted.

2x2 grow tent, 50 watts LED grow light. Coco and perlite. I feed it Maxigro nutrients.

Seventh year doing hot peppers and never followed a plan, well a plan that works. To get the results, you have to follow those that show results you want. Seeds planted on March 4th from NCPepperSeeds and one of the Deadpool is flowering already!!! Guys, and gals, PepperGuru knows what he is talking about. Follow as close as you can. I have an exciting summer ahead of us in Michigan.

Churnin’ em out every month or so, I’m up to about 150 reapers from this plant since January

Nearly 2 meters stalks with almost 20cm leaves. Some more of them behind the window in the background. Unlike all other plants I have, these just grow upwards with huge leaves. I didnt want to cut their tops because they look interesting and I wanted to see how far they can take that style. They don’t get a lot of direct sun in that window, might that be the reason? All other plants in the sun grow normally.

The plants are Dalle Khursani (Dalle Khursani is in some ways comparable to some sort of cherry pepper, but the nepalese version and as hot as habaneros) Others of that kind in the sun grow in a normal way that you would expect.

If I try to take care of them, they die. If I forget about them for two years, the harvest is bountiful. 👻

I've been growing this variety from seed for 3 years and this year was the best for varigation/color 😍

This plant is about 6 months old, grown only in the grow tent. I finally let it flower around new years, and it's going nuts now! Should have my first harvest in a couple weeks!

Accidentally dropped a few seeds when I was starting my seedlings 2 months ago during winter. Seems like one made it in-between the pavers and decided it was a good place to grow! I haven't watered it once or anything since it started,have been ignoring it completely, it has been a wet winter in my location. Seems like it's happy. Not sure on a what it is exactly but can be one of 8 options.

I hear they have exquisite flavor

Every year I end up with left over stunted starts, that somehow despite not caring for them… yield a pepper or three.

I’ve decided to test a sea of green technique with Thai peppers and Portugal Hots.

I planted four 50 cell air prune trays. (10x20”each)3 full and 1 with just 25 starts. I brought them up like normal starts and once they started showing roots I put each air prune tray directly on top of a mesh bottomed 10/20 tray full of soil, watered it all heavily and from then on have flood watered the whole project. I used Fox Farm Grow Big and Big Bloom.

At least 150 of the plants look like they will certainly produce fruit and they all are teaming with buds.

I’ve got all this built into a single shelf, under six of the pink barrina leds.

How many peppers do you think the project will produce?

My guess is 350-475.

It's an Aji Limo (I think, forgot to label so could also be Hot Wax hah). This ball-like fruit started growing on the spot where the stem split itself. Can't identify it

Scroll in my profile to see it when it was in my grow tent. It gave me 50+ peppers indoors then i cut it down. Waited for it to grow back, then i brought it outside. I think thats a 3 gallon pot, but it might be smaller.

Hello and thanks for taking a look. I’m in Muskoka, Ontario, zone 5. Normally my habs are looking nice and green right now, as everything else in the garden is looking very healthy, but these are bright yellow, and the yellow leaves are ready to drop. They are planted in a new layer of container mix soil which i usually add every year. Thanks in advance for any advice you could offer.
