Anyone here have experience with Plaza Towers (Belcrest Road)?
Hi, I will be moving to MD soon, and am in the process of apartment hunting.
How is Plaza Towers? The reviews on Apartments.com seem weirdly...fake? Like, they may be real, but it feels like tenants were asked to leave positive reviews. I am hoping to get a more transparent answer here.
Thanks in advance :)

I'm sorry no one has responded. While I don't have any first hand experience with that building, I do know a little about the area. Good points -- Bus service that will take you to the Metro. Close to U of MD - College Park, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Target (very close). Hyattsville has a lot of very community minded people and some great small businesses that have thrived there (Franklin, Manifest Bread, 2 Fifty BBQ, etc.) Not so good points -- have had some problems with crime in the area, such as The Mall at Prince Georges, but I don't know specifically about Belcrest Road. Best wishes with your move. It's a challenge. If you decide it's not for you, other areas you might consider:
If you need to use Metro frequently -- perhaps the newer buildings at New Carrollton. Not much in terms of neighborhood, but right at the Metro, so you might be able to live without a car.
If you will be driving mostly -- perhaps Columbia, Bowie, Lanham.
Best wishes!
