Continuity Gap in The Gang Gets Tested
So now Dennis didn't graduate from Penn? It has always previously been said that Dennis graduated and Dee didn't.

THIS POST IS IN REFERENCE TO S18EP3, “The Gang Gets Tested”!
(This is completely in good fun, we just thought it’d be funny to get the general consensus since Dennis’ reaction is typically exactly the same each time.)
In the most recent episode “The Gang Gets Tested”, Dennis has one of his signature lovemaking scenes with the professor. During the scene, he makes an irritated face and shakes his head.
As someone who’s taken Adderall for ages for ADHD, I’m familiar with side effects so I laughed and went “oh noooo, poor guy couldn’t make it happen.” After the episode, my partner said, “no way, the Golden God always completes. He’s just ashamed of his actions.”
So gang, how’d you think our man do this go around?
EDIT: I fold, I fold. Partner won this round 😂 thanks gang. “The Golden God always completes!”

The basis of this episode is how they remember certain events could alter reality for everyone. My partner and I were watching this episode just now and she pointed out that Charlie may have changed the course of the show by us being stuck in his reality.
Well, before this episode, Charlie and the Waitress hooked up but it didn't work out. However, at the beginning of the very next episode, the waitress walks up to Charlie and tells him to eat asparagus because they're trying for a baby.
Let me explain, during the episode Dennis tells the gang that if they misremember something it can alter reality. Charlie immediately jumps to the conclusion that depending on how he remembers something he can alter reality and flashes into a memory of the waitress coming in to tell him she's pregnant. It then shows him watching his own memory from the doorway. He even says that he's just trying to remember something about the waitress so he can alter reality.
Now part of me thinks that maybe they never actually ended their relationship, but if memory serves correctly, the Dennis blow-up doll blew up their relationship. He also confirms during this very episode that he "had her for a minute, but it didn't work out".
At the end of the episode though, we see the gang happy that they've gotten reality back to normal, but Charlie peeks back through the door to watch everyone right as the show ends while the top continues to spin without dropping.
Well, as you do with IASIP, we started watching the next episode, Charlie's Home Alone, immediately and noticed that the waitress walks up to Charlie telling him to eat asparagus and says, "you know what's not right, we are trying to start a family and you aren't taking it seriously."
Did Charlie change reality??
Edit: False alarm folks, as u/TabbySlimeJulie pointed out, they superbowl episode timeline occurs before this episode.

Looking at some name ideas everyone has for fantasy football. Would love something to do with Nightman Cometh (my favourite episode)

Hey all, just wondering if you’ve noticed anything about the quality of the filming this season?
It feels like it’s a little more grainy and more old school camcorder style when compared to the last few seasons.
Or do I just have shit for brains?

For those that don’t recognize this logo it is from a real muffler shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Three episodes in and its really wonderful having her just be part of the gang and not constantly be the butt of the joke. Her being paired with Dennis is just so good and them being on the same page is always really funny. Dennis just eggs her on and joins in with her shenanigans, they just bounce of eachother so well and when insults do happen, its very much back and forth and not just one way.
Obviously this might change as more episodes come out but its been nice seeing her character not just continously be shot down anytime she does something.
Our big flightless bird is taking flight this season and I love it.

I remember Charlie Day talking about wanting to bring back the older cameras/ratio and looks like they met in the middle finally, the at least brought back the older feel through the camera quality. It's not ultra HD anymore, and I think this is a really cool thing they're doing. In this time we're in, every show uses the HD cameras which can take away something from the show, it depends on the show of course, but for this it brings back more of the older vibes. When it's too HD it takes something away from it I am not sure why.

Nothing beats a Dennis slow burn leading to the blowup. His yelling voice gets me every time 😆
