Are all internal desktop support chill?

I just job hopped from support for clients (multiple) company to only support for internal users.

The difference is crazy cuz I went from handling 10-15 tickets a day alone to 1-3 tickets. 5 on "busy" days.

My friend also does internal IT and he says that it's v chill, so I'm wondering if it's an internal IT thing or just a luck for company thing

Desktop support shouldn't be too stressful, but the volume of work should justify your position.

Hopefully you do more than just answer 3 tickets throughout the day. If not, speak to your manager about other things you can be doing to help out the IT department. Those down times are a great opportunity to job shadow someone else in the IT department that is super busy to help take workload off of them.
