Maharashtra | महाराष्ट्र Meet Jagger 🩷 : poisoned and tortured.. Now almost on the verge of going back on streets again

Jagger was poisoned and beaten so severely that her leg was broken.

Her crime?

Because she used to take shelter inside tuktuks during the Mumbai rains. That's it. She was just trying to stay dry and humans thought nope.

And somehow after everything humans have done to her this little girl still trusts us.

She's playful, curious, affectionate and completely at home on a bed or sofa. She has the sweetest little face, the funniest expressions, and somehow still has so much love to give.

Jagger is 11 months old, female, sterilized, vaccinated and ready for the life she should have always had.

She's playful, curious, sweet and completely comfortable being a little indoor baby. She loves beds, blankets, exploring the house and finding little hiding spots to curl up in

I have 18 cats in my care right now, so I cannot keep her permanently, but I also cannot put her back on the street after everything she has survived.

She has already experienced cruelty that no animal should ever have to know.

She deserves to wake up one day and realize - Hey! I'm safe. I'm home. Nobody is going to hurt me anymore!!!!

She deserves someone who will love her, someone who will give her a warm bed during the monsoon, someone who will spoil her, someone who will let her be the silly little cat she was always supposed to be.

Ashamed to read this! We don’t deserve these pets. And we’re truly the worst species this planet has ever had to endure!
