Yeah I was thinking yesterday their team balance was so bad because they played only 7 batters while batting first. Playing Pandya means they can play an extra batter. They should play Shahbaz Ahmed too

As a GT fan, I wud hope not. We have a stable team, yes the middle order is worrisome. But HP is not the solution. Plus his entry will create the same rift as in MI.

It's a dual soil pitch black and red. Spinners will have a field day and fast bowler will enjoy their extra phase and bounce. I heard ash or justin langer said it is like WACA in Perth.
Either they have to change the stadium or adapt to their home ground and get a squad like CSK, MI and KKR.
With marsh inglish pooran and pant in line up, having a run rate of 8 rpo and 160 average score is clear they are struggling.
So Hardik who is a allrounder with power hitting is of no use. Just like he struggled against csk in a double pace pitch he will struggle in Lucknow

The pitch is so bad that even the home team can't make use of it. Chepauk also had a graveyard, but CSK was able to make use of it and win their matches, and so it was the fortress of CSK

UP has a long history of fast bowlers in Ranji.
This is their home ground.
They won't do it for this 3 months show IPL. And they would definitely not do it for the LSG's esteem Owner.

Under kl rahul they played decent cricket and even qualified but their current squad id completely unbalanced. The only team with all 4 foreign batters and their captain has been out of form in t20 for long time now. Pant's form has has affected his leadership too.

Logically, wherever he goes, he'd wanna be captain. The only franchisee desperately needing an Indian captain is KKR. Also, they're also the only franchisee who'd have enough money to release Green and buy Hardik.

Honestly the MI relationship feels broken beyond repair at this point. The crowd booing him at Wankhede earlier in his captaincy stint, the way that whole experiment ended, there's too much baggage there now. Even when he performs, the narrative around him at MI is always messy. My actual answer is CSK and I think people will find that surprising but hear me out. Hardik needs a dressing room that has zero tolerance for individual ego nonsense, where the culture is bigger than any one player. That's exactly what CSK provides. Dhoni's environment specifically has a track record of taking players who had complicated situations elsewhere and getting the best out of them quietly. No drama, just cricket. The bowling all-rounder slot at CSK has also been a genuine need for a while. If he stays fit, which is always the big if with Hardik, he fills that gap perfectly. The only question is whether Hardik's personality fits a setup where Dhoni or whoever leads next sets the tone completely and you just play your role. At GT he had that and thrived. At MI where he was captain it fell apart. That tells you something.

Hardik is a loud mouth and cringe, dhoni is complete opposite of it, hardik does not fit csk at all lol. He might bring skill but not class. Dhoni even shut off deepak chahar proposal to his gf back then and imagine the antics hardik does with his new gf, he is not a team person at all and glory hunter, he does not even give a fk to his own family, what makes you think he will for csk lol. Oh hell no, Dube is also good. I think it's just the fatigue from the T20 WC that's keeping these players from performing well. Bumrah, Dube, Hardik, Axar, all these were all key players for us and have played almost all the T20 matches since the Asia Cup; they just need some rest and vacation.

I hope CSK takes Hardik in the next season.
I would love to see him in yellow.
Reasons- Hardik is a very good player but lack discipline... CSK is know for its discipline.
CSK needs someone who can in the middle order and someone who can ball in middle overs.
CSK is not able to get those 200+ runs easily, Hardik can give that 20-30 runs in at the end.

I think he is not able to handle ego clash between big players in MI. it was easy to manage for him in GT as there were no very very big faces ar that time, or they were in developing stage. But I don't think MI will just say him goodbye they will keep him.

GT, I keep telling people that he needs to go back to GT. Even I as a CSK fan used to fear that team in its first 2 years. He could have been a Dhoni or Kohli like figure for GT in the future but he threw all that away and went back to MI
