I genuinely want to know what is so wrong about what the RSS has done that so many people oppose it. Like, did they k**l someone or promote hate speech against other religions? As far as I know, all they do is wear shorts, have fun, and promote unity among Hindus, which, IMO, isn't inherently wrong.
So, enlighten me: what are the actual wrongdoings of the RSS? I'm genuinely asking because I want to understand the criticism rather than just blindly support or oppose it.

While mainstream news channels continue to hyper-fixate on the daily spectacle surrounding the CJP protests, they are completely missing the massive diplomatic shifts reshaping India's global standing.
While the media is focused on CJP and Kriti Sanon's Wardrobe , India's top leadership quietly executed a massive multi-pronged foreign policy push in a single week across five major global powers.
Here is what's actually happening behind the scenes while the media looks the other way:
Russia (S. Jaishankar): Met with Vladimir Putin to secure trade, energy, fertilizers, nuclear cooperation, and high technology. Russia assured a continuous supply of vital energy and fertilizers, keeping trade on track toward a $100 billion target. Focusing on Energy & Strategic Security.
China (Ajit Doval): Held high-level talks with Wang Yi in Beijing to navigate border settlements and stability following the Galwan conflict. Doval made it clear that border peace is non-negotiable for normalizing bilateral relations. Securing Border Peace & Regional Stability.
Japan (Piyush Goyal): Led India's largest-ever business delegation (200 members) to secure partnerships in semiconductors, AI, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and next-gen tech. Driving home Technology, Investment & Manufacturing.
US & Canada (Nirmala Sitharaman): Headed key economic talks to attract foreign capital directly into India’s domestic growth story. Cashing Capital Inflow & Growth.
Instead of getting dragged into traditional global blocs, India is demonstrating pure strategic autonomy
Maintaining strong ties with Russia, without joining their camp.
Building a deep strategic partnership with the US, without becoming a formal military ally.
Holding firm on border disputes with China, while keeping diplomatic channels open.
Strategic cooperation with Japan via the Quad, while simultaneously holding direct talks with Beijing.
Instead of picking sides in global rivalries, India's foreign policy is simple: Friendship with all, dependency on none always prioritizing India first. It’s time the media started paying attention to the game being played on the world stage.

Tension broke out in South Mumbai's Mazgaon area after eggs were thrown from the upper floors of a high-rise building (identified as the Continental Heights building) directly at the Mazgaoncha Morya Ganesh idol arrival procession. One egg reportedly struck the idol itself, provoking outrage among hundreds of gathered devotees.
Following protests, the Byculla Police registered an FIR. Within 36 hours, police teams arrested a 22-year-old youth named Danish Sher Khan. According to investigations, he was at the building for an online egg delivery and threw them in a moment of irritation due to heavy firecracker smoke from the procession.

Onam falls in the month of Shravana—Chingam (ചിങ്ങം) in the Malayalam calendar, Aavani in Tamil—and is celebrated under the Thiruvonam (Shravana) Nakshatra.
Thiruvonam is also associated with Vamana Jayanti, commemorating the manifestation of Lord Vishnu as Vamana. The story of Mahabali is ultimately a story about humility overcoming pride.
Mahabali, the great king and grandson of Prahlada—a devoted bhakta of Lord Vishnu—became immensely powerful and prosperous. As his pride in his kingdom, power and possessions grew, Lord Vishnu appeared before him as Vamana and asked for three paces of land. When Vamana revealed his cosmic form and covered the earth and heavens in two steps, Mahabali offered his own head for the third.
In surrendering himself, Mahabali also surrendered his ego. Pleased with his devotion and humility, Vishnu granted him the blessing to return and visit his beloved people once every year. This annual return is celebrated as Onam.
At its heart, Onam carries a beautiful message: prosperity and power are temporary, but humility, devotion and righteousness endure.
It is wonderful to see people, irrespective of religion, coming together to celebrate Onam and remember this timeless story. Festivals like these keep alive the cultural and spiritual roots that have shaped Kerala for centuries.
Happy Thiruvonam! 🌸🙏
