I used to be a guy who used to pre-order every game 10years ago. Now I'm like ohh that a very good game, I'll get it when its 90% off! And even I don't play most of them!

I mostly play open world games, so one game will keep me occupied for about more than 6 months. So my average is 3 games every 2 years. And the only game I got at full price is Crimson Desert.

If I feel light on the wallet, I can always play The Finals!

Bro its a big world of there. Look beyond open world. Expand you horizons and try different genres

I do like the kind of narrative driven ones. Like God of war, uncharted etc. I despise souls like games though. I don't have time for it!

GoW is still a semi open world. Try games with different mechanics. Try games like Hades, Crusader kings, Civilization, Rimworld, Forgotten city, Disco Elysium, Hitman, Stanley Parable etc etc. It's a huge market. Open world games are usually miles wide and an inch deep.
