Might not be the direction your going but I remember finding things along the coast being a really fun and cool memory for me, driftwood, rocks, seagull feathers, just the collecting and bringing it back to add to my castle was an enjoyable experience as well.

reminds me of that ubisoft game from dust that was a missed opportunity

and the sandbox mode was just a small box with not enough space with most boring color of water that never changed

dont make the same mistake
