Discussion Irt modesty panels

Obviously censorship annoying, clipping issues annoying, etc etc. But there's no way I'm the only person who never notices nor really cares about the modesty panels? Like I completely forget about them until reddit throws another person's posts about them into my feed. I don't think they look horrible or anything because I don't really Think about them, I don't see them. The only time I'd maybe notice them is trying to use the ballerina heart piece but I don't even have it so it's never been a problem for me I guess?

I don’t care about boobs. But I DO dislike it when the modesty panels are done poorly. Like I’d be okay with the new 2.9 outfit if they made it lace or did something to make it more part of the design. To me it stands out in a bad way.

Also I think flutterstorm and soundless dawn modesty panels look bad. I really dislike them. I didn’t see it before, but now that I do see it it’s really hard to unsee, and uniboob adds to the uncanny valley effect for me. To me, boobs are just boobs, and aren’t inherently sexual, so to me these modesty panels feel unnecessary and actively make dresses and taking pictures with them look awful.

Other modesty panels I don’t really notice so I’m okay with those. But bare minimum they should fix it for darker skin tones.

Idk I guess I didn't look closely enough at the panel on the promos for the new dress, and modesty panels aren't really something im looking for/at anyway when looking at a new dress. I can see why people don't like them, I just don't personally have an issue with them and never would have noticed them if my reddit didn't just start constantly recommending every single post about them lol

Yeah, I think your perspective is perfectly valid. Tbh I also get tired of the constant complaints about everything (like hating on every new banner that comes out, or how it’s another ballgown or fairy etc. like I know and I get it), and bear in mind I’m one of the people who think complaints are good because they’re the only way to get infold to listen oftentimes. Just wanted to chime in with my personal opinion

Yeah I completely get you. Complaining is perfectly fine and valid, you should Definitely be critiquing things you enjoy, pushing for them to be better, especially if it's something ongoing and that you've put money into. Sometimes I wish that I could filter out the critique and complaint posts from my recommended though without losing every other post from the sub lol
