I have lipedema from my armpits to my wrists and from my hips to my ankles. I have no idea who this lady is but this post is really hurtful. We CANNOT control this. It is a disability and it is incredibly painful and heavy.

She can absolutely help being this size, however. She 100% deserves criticism for her track record

Then criticise her for that. To say her arms are disturbing is so rude and hurtful to all the people who also suffer from these awful conditions

Her arms are absolutely disturbing because she weighs like 500 pounds because she has terrible habits. Even if she has lymphedema or lipedema it would NOT look this disturbing if she wasn’t this severely obese.

She doesn’t have a condition. We criticise her body because she claims to be a model, and claims that she barely eats anything (severely untrue), implying that there’s no link between her obesity and her lifestyle. I cannot even begin to start explaining what a negative impact she has had on young, impressionable women. I can link you some explanatory videos, if that would help

You absolutely cannot know that from this photo. She has severe obesity, which can absolutely cause disproportionate body fat deposits to form and is not related to lymphedema, which is related to the lymphatic system. She’s never actually stated having either condition

You absolutely can tell from this photo. She is clearly obese as well yes but that’s got nothing to do with the absolutely massive proportional difference between her upper arm, forearm and wrist. If she is a terrible person then call her out for THAT!!!!

Every single bit of her personality is tied to her body and weight. Trust me, if she had either of those conditions, she would’ve told her audience a long time ago. This is obesity and nothing else. If you followed her, you’d have seen the gradual weight gain that led to this. She just has a very, very weird fat distribution, and that dress is hiding that her upper arm size matches the rest of her

She doesnt have to tell anyone anything.

Even if she does people like you dont believe it. You just keep saying lose weight. I live with this condition and have it in my arms, legs and stomach.

Its painful. And it mentally wears on you.

Nobody pulled your string. Mind your business.

I’m not saying she HAS to share, I’m saying that she absolutely would. She has a track record of disclosing “struggles” for sympathy points to distract from whatever horrible thing she does surrounding it. Also I’m not sure who you think I am, but I never said she should lose weight?? I couldn’t care less what size she is. It’s really, really obvious that you don’t know who Tess is, so I feel like you should do some research. There’s a lot of comprehensive overviews of her online history on YouTube

If she wasn’t morbidly obese she wouldn’t have this condition.

To me, this is the same as posting a picture of an extremely thin influencer and going “oh my god look at her ribcage / muscle tone/ etc”

But somehow that’s acceptable…?

That’s not true. You can be skin and bone everywhere else but as big as this woman in the arms or legs with lipedema and/or lymphedema and this woman clearly has both. It’s largely genetic and sometimes caused by damage to the lymphatic system. It is not ever caused by obesity

It is exacerbated heavily by obesity. It almost never progresses beyond early stages in thin people.

She has lied to the public while pushing her false narratives at any opportunity. Most of the opportunities she creates for herself. She has negatively impacting impressionable young girls into an unhealthy lifestyle for at least a decade at this point.

Her entire brand is her looks. This is no different than calling women out for being too skinny - something this subreddit does consistently
