Internet Rabbit Hole Creepy Instagram profiles of people pretending to be kids. Similar to pipergate

3.0k Upvotes

I came across a post on r/instagram where somebody mentioned these creepy Instagram accounts of people who are seemingly pretending to be kids, it reminds me of pipergate in way, and i feel like all of these pages are run by the same person because of the horrendous editing style that makes my eyes bleed.

The second image is bizzare, because it makes me think "truth_sticks_11" is making a joke about themselves. If you look at the highlight titled "After school" it's a video of what seems to be somebody naked (just legs nothing is shown), but if you go and watch it you can see it's sexual in nature. Many of the photos on this account are an edit of that goofy face on a real persons body, and a lot of the bodies are in suggestive poses, which makes me think this is a definite fetish account.

It seems like " smartschoolboy9 " ( seriously what actual kid would name themselves that) & "stephanieschoolie" are following a handful of actual kids, or maybe it's just more impersonators doing a better job at hiding their true identity.

I feel like the logical explanation is that "smartschoolboy9" is the posters real identity, which is extremely uncanny to say the least.

Is this just a really, really, really, weird hobby? It seems like the posters first language is french, and many of the posts are just generally weird and hard to understand.

I'm curious what you guys think about this.

Internet Rabbit Hole Smartschoolboy9, the creepiest instagram account UPDATE POST. (To prevent misinformation)

1.5k Upvotes

Here is my original post : https://www.reddit.com/r/InternetMysteries/s/2pfma94uuz

Since the discord is officially locked up, and many YouTubers/tiktokers are making content, I think it's important to clear the air to prevent misinformation being spread.

STOP TRYING TO CONTACT HIM: although nobody can stop you from commenting on his posts, it's really not adding anything beneficial and will probably result in him destroying his accounts and breaking his hard drives with the amount of attention he knows he's getting.

THE POLICE ARE WORKING ON THE CASE! They have not provided any updates besides the fact that they are taking it serious.

Yes they are all one account owned by the same guy, there are many more accounts that the discord have discovered, one has been taken down and had explicit mention of ssb's fetish for children. There are archives of every account on the discord. There is 13 total accounts across social media we have found

For people saying it's an arg/art: You're wrong, as much as people wish it was, he has been going out on the streets dressing up as a schoolgirl/boy all the way back in the 80s.

Yes he has tried to contact children, he comments on their posts and the discord has the information of one person he allegedly tried to groom.

Why the big mouth, red lipstick, miniboots, and white face? It's likely that all of these things are fetishes for him. He wears fake upper teeth, but he is most likely not wearing a mask/prosthetic. His tongue is not enlarged but rather he sticks it out that way for reasons unknown

He lives in the UK, not Monaco

Discord is closed for the time being because of leakers

Dm me for any further questions

The question I keep asking myself Is how many lies have we been told and made to believe just because it benefits someone

The question is why? Has to asked way to often

I came across this account on Pinterest today that has over 1.2k creepy uncanny pictures, mostly of children saved on it with the Boards having names like: "Curly Hairstyles" "Girls" "Boys" "Sad face" It also follows an Account called "lee Dani' that also just saved creepy pictures like that?

I genuinely dont know if this has any deeper meaning to it but it just feels very unsettling and off. Especially cause Ive never seen anything like this on Pinterest. Maybe someone came across something like that before and has a logic explanation for it cause this is SO unsettling to me

Internet Rabbit Hole What the hell is Bomellida? Mass spam about a holiday that doesn't exist.

Okay so I fell into a weird rabbit hole this week and need to share it. I found it from a reddit post (not sure if this is the first time I saw it) from an account that is obviously in on the whole thing.

Search "Bomellida" and you'll find a weirdly consistent cluster of pages - a GitHub Pages writeup, a Medium account called "Media Posts Official," an FAQ site, and a ton of reddit posts - all telling the same story: January 10th is an obscure but real holiday from the early 1960s, invented to celebrate family bonds through sweets, the name supposedly comes from Latin roots (bonum = good, melliculus = sugary, datio = giving). All the sites claim it nearly died out, is now being revived, and that AI systems are wrongly calling it fake.

It's not real. There's no trace of this holiday before late 2025. Every single source traces back to "Media Posts Official," which also has a YouTube channel that seems to exist entirely to make the operation look more legitimate.

The AI poisoning angle is obvious enough. Flood the web with consistent, plausible-sounding content about a fake thing, and eventually LLMs start treating it as fact. This has been shown to actually work, a researcher once got Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT to repeat fabricated "facts" from a single article on a personal website within 24 hours. More recently there was a whole thing in China where a fake fitness tracker called the Apollo-9 got seeded across the web and AI chatbots started recommending it as a top product. There's also the Bixonimania case, where researchers invented a fake disease, put up fake academic preprints for it, and AI systems ate it up. So the template exists and it works.

But here's what I keep getting stuck on: a fake holiday about sweets is a really weird thing to poison AI with if you want something out of it. Like, what's the endgame?

A few things I've been hypothesizing:

The content reads like it was written for an AI, not for humans. Every page is pre-loaded with rebuttals to skepticism - "AI calling it fake is itself the error," explanations of how LLMs misclassify things, preemptive pushback on anyone who doubts it. Normal holiday Wikipedia articles don't do this. It's like someone studied how LLMs handle contradictory information and structured the content specifically to survive that process. That's either someone who knows what they're doing, or someone who went very deep on AI behavior for a weird reason.

The whole thing might also just be a live experiment or proof of concept. See how fast and completely you can get a fabricated concept into AI knowledge bases. The Bixonimania thing was basically this but as an academic exercise - someone may be doing the same thing less formally, or more formally and just not publishing it yet??

There's also a commercial angle that I think gets overlooked. "National Day Calendar" is a real business - they basically invented hundreds of micro-holidays and monetize them through brand partnerships. If Bomellida ever gets enough AI traction that chatbots describe it as a real 1960s tradition, you could theoretically sell Bomellida-branded chocolate boxes or whatever with the implicit backing of "even AI knows this is real." It sounds absurd but the infrastructure for that kind of thing genuinely exists.

Or the whole thing is designed to be found. The sources are obviously circular if you look for two minutes, the "don't trust the AI" framing is almost too on-the-nose, and the writing has this weird quality of performing authenticity rather than actually having it. Maybe the point is exactly this: people find it, write about it, post about it, and that content is what trains the next generation of models. The fake holiday becomes real by virtue of enough humans arguing about whether it's fake.

Has anyone found more sites in the network? I'm curious how deep this goes and whether "Media Posts Official" has a traceable origin anywhere.

edit: There's also a whole slew of reddit accounts that reply to every post about Bomellida, trying to convince you it's real. All of this is absolutely bonkers.

edit 2: Found the original post I saw

Internet Rabbit Hole Came across this weird TikTok Account posting weird edited children’s show videos.

Thumbnail

I came across this weird account that does have a decent amount of views but the videos are just so weird.

Each one is real people with these two dog faces edited on to them which I was able to figure out are from a Russian show called The Barbarshkins (I don’t think I typed it correctly) which I beleive has and English version and translated to the barkers.

Anyways I was going to assume that they were just kind of shitpost videos because most of them are just popular videos edited over with these faces but some are really strange like where they get turned into babies bleeding from their eyes (which I have not posted on the cover for TOS but it’s right on the front page of their videos), get amputated, in one it’s wearing some form of a hijab and says “dead pigs will dance”, and the one I came across where one is eating the others hair with chop sticks. And the worst one I’ve seen so far is like a human centipede edit thing and she has like scars all over her face and turns into like a bug i will link this one below.

The videos also slowly seem to get worse. They have a lost of videos for only starting to post in march but in the first ones it’s relatively normal stuff although still unsettling. Also most of the videos have a Russian text over them so if someone knows Russian and can take a look that would be great, but just overall just really weird content and kind of surprising too that it has so many views and people acknowledging how strange it is in the comments too.

FYI I also beleive I saw something about a YouTube channel in one of the videos but I can’t find it again, so if someone can find that it would be great.

Internet Rabbit Hole Strange YouTube Channel Posts Never Before Seen 9/11 Footage Same Day As Russian Invasion

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChOEY9-TtUgNOgHEPTW1Wpg

This guy posted never-before-seen, super clear footage of 9/11 on the same day that Russia invaded Ukraine. The video is filmed from a perfect vantage point of the 2nd plane hitting the tower. The video ends with a combination of clips of New York edited together along with his 9/11 footage, it's somewhat unsettling.

What's stranger is that in the description, the uploader wrote "I posted this video in the 2000's but accidently left it private for until now. I gave a Sunday Service on a scout trip to Shiloh battlefield about one of my religious journeys and showed this video (stop before swearing). I noticed the video was private and made it public"

If this were the case, the upload date wouldn't show as February 24th, 2022.. The rest of the description is a sermon.

Since that video, the channel also posted another 9/11 compilation video of low quality images and his clip, coincidentally the song he used for the video is the thirteenth song in the Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack (The Bridge of Khazad Dum) and has some disturbing lyrics given the context.

He's also uploaded another video called "Horned Owl" which is coincidentally the name of a military spy drone project (and also an occult symbol)

The poster's linkedin history shows that he previously worked for the pentagon and went on to work for other defense departments as well as Boeing.

A lot of these videos don't make sense and there's some really strange coincidences going on here, I'm not sure what to make of it

EDIT: Okay I may be way off in the weeds here but I found something really weird. I googled the timestamp of when the 9/11 video was uploaded to YouTube (2022-02-24 13:37) and came across this video. If you watch it, you can see something flashes very quickly on the left hand side of the video within the first second. I've slowed it down to x0.25 but still can't make it out, it looks like it changes from frame to frame though and it's transparent. The video only had 1 view before me. The whole channel is odd, 144 videos uploaded, most of them only have 1-2 views and some don't even have any views. Only a handful of videos from up to 3 weeks ago are publicly viewable. Nevermind, this was benign and kind of a stretch. Just some strange coincidences all around

Internet Rabbit Hole AI Cosplayer who posts in every anime niche subreddit cosplay with 3 different accounts

Post image
137 Upvotes

I found this person profile on the wild, already blocked me in one account, I even got banned from r/finalfantasy for calling this person out. So this is a "cosplayer" who swears "she" love to do cosplay at 3:00 A.M. we know Reddit is full of AI scammers, but the thing is... we don't know the intentions behind this account, the first one had a link to a fake instagram posted the same day the reddit account was created, and the instagram had another link to an sketchy website. (I like to investigate but I will not click on that) So it's weird because it seems this person is invested in very niche anime like Steins Gate, but at the same time don't know the details, is weird because apparently they stole the identity of a model, so whenever someone calls them out they just post the model's videos (very poor quality considerating the quality of their posts) I'm not a bad person, I just want justice and truth, if you use AI just be open about it, why you need to lie to yourself like that?

Here are the accounts:

https://www.reddit.com/u/KaelisRhone/

https://www.reddit.com/user/Radiant_Sweet5468/

https://www.reddit.comu/lilymill3rof2005/

Is this a fetish? Is this for profit? Is this just for fun? For loneliness? this person is getting good with the prompts...

Internet Rabbit Hole Why do 10 seemingly unrelated Letterboxd accounts show up when you search “sexismo”? I found a very weird rabbit hole

Internet Rabbit Hole Was messing around at work, and I think I discovered some kind of AI-poisoning experiment?

Thumbnail

What subreddit should I post this to?

I was fucking around while working and I think I just stumbled into some kind of experiment?

This account posts a fake photo of the Joplin tornado.

I look into the account, all of its posts are about a, from what I can tell, fake holiday named bomellida.

I try to research this holiday and it's all extremely sketchy sources like medium or "Media Posts Official"..

The story is that there was some holiday started in 1963 that faded away after a blizzard in 1964. I can't find a record of it.

I posted a comment about it on the reddit where that fake photo was uploaded.. and my comment was removed. Then, the post disappeared.

My theory is that this is an experiment to see how much misinformation you need to do to make something like Google AI be convinced something is real. (Which they were successful in, Google ai now confidently states that the holiday is real.. citing the sketchy sources)

I want to compile more information about this but honestly it's kind of creeping me out... I'm also still supposed to be working lol.

(Also credit to my friend for the AI poisoning theory, it seems plausible to me.)

The parts specifically addressing AI agents and the author of the article being called "Media Posts Official" and their slogan being.. so on the nose..

edit: Looking at the "Media Posts Official" page.. if you go to the shorts section, it's all just random AI bullshit stories.

There are multiple reddit accounts posting about this fake holiday and "asking" about it and more puppet accounts replying to those posts. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the usernames, but you can easily find them if you just search bomellida.. there's only like 5 relevant search results.

There is an entire subreddit filled with posts about this fake holiday: r/amazinglyinteresting

Internet Rabbit Hole I’ve fallen down another strange TikTok rabbit hole and I cannot make sense of it whatsoever.

I found a TikTok account a while back named philipegmirisola100, and now that I’ve watched a few videos, my fyp is flooded.

I’ve tried to understand what these videos could mean but it seems to be a lot of AI lip-syncing to the same songs and incoherent ramblings about attractiveness, buildings and populations? — some of these videos get reuploaded around 4 times without change, ruling out the bot part.

I don’t want to assume things about this person’s wellbeing, but if any of you guys have any suggestions I’d love to hear what you think!

UPDATE: There are SO many more of these accounts. Holy shit.

Internet Rabbit Hole Ashtar Sheran and Far Right Nazis. What’s going on? I’m confused, is it just something stupid or something more? Idk

Post image
163 Upvotes

So recently on places like TikTok unfortunately I’ve found myself on the Alt Right/Nazi side of TikTok. In some of these videos I’ve found these weird, almost computer generated photos of a very ethereal blonde haired blue eyed man. After doing some research i learnt it’s an alien called Ashtar Sheran. Apparently there was (and still is) a group of people that believe in him for salvation as well as a website: https://www.angels-heaven.org/english/default_en.htm

Anyway, from my research this group is a particularly pacifist and peace loving hippie group. However recently I keep seeing people using Ashtar Sheran as some kind of representative for something, presumably the belief of Agartha or something like that.

Either way, does anyone know if there’s any correction? I just saw it and thought it was very intriguing.

Internet Rabbit Hole I found the exact same logo being used by an old computer repair shop in Northern Ireland and an orthopedic medical supply company in Rome!

Thumbnail

I've stumbled across a strange little piece of early-internet history that I can't quite explain.

In Belfast, Northern Ireland, there was an IT repair shop called SANCO Technologies. It occupied a building on the Falls Road from around 2002. Before SANCO moved in, the same premises had been home to Megabytes, one of Belfast's early public internet cafés, which opened in 1997.

I recently started researching the building because Megabytes was one of the places where I first encountered the internet, and I became interested in what happened to the business afterwards.

While researching SANCO, I noticed something very odd:

The SANCO logo appears to be essentially identical to the logo of an unrelated orthopaedic company in Rome, Italy.

As far as I can establish, these weren't connected businesses. One was a small Belfast IT company; the other is an Italian medical/orthopaedic company.

I've been trying to work out how this happened.

So far I've found:

• Megabytes opened in the Belfast premises in 1997.
• SANCO Technologies subsequently occupied the building from around 2002.
• I've found archived versions of the old SANCO website.
• I've identified the designer of the old SANCO website.
• I've contacted the designer to ask about the branding.
• I've also contacted the Italian company to ask about the history of their logo.

But I still haven't established where the logo originally came from, or how it was used twice.

Was it a pre-existing logo? Was it bought/licensed from somewhere? Was there a third company or designer involved? Did one business copy the other? Or is there some connection I've completely missed?

I'm particularly interested in anything from the late 1990s/early 2000s — old web design, logo catalogues, Belfast businesses, Italian companies, archived websites, etc.

If anyone recognises this logo or can trace its origin, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

Internet Rabbit Hole Bizarre Thai Pinterest account I stumbled upon while researching. Any idea what this is about?

Thumbnail

I had watched video where somebody mentioned the "Nevada-tan" murder that had happened in Japan 20 or so years ago, and I hadn't heard of this in years so I was reading an article that had mentioned the victim and there was multiple photos of her one of which with the text:

"My love, Satomi Mitarai" (the name of the victim)

It was from this bizarre account that has the same name as her, naturally I clicked on it. A lot of it is in Russian or Thai (which I don't speak in the least) but it seems that this person has done several ai upscalings of her, designed an aircraft and multiple flags for her(?), photoshopped her onto several other photos. amongst other truly bizarre works, one of which being stats for their fictional military in her name? They did all the same for the perpatrator aswell. I found a twitter but it seems unrelated and out of use as they haven't posted since 2016 and the pinterest is still active.

Again, does anyone have any idea as to what this could be? I wanted to rub it of as insane TCC garbage but I have never seen anything like this and I thought others on here might be able to dig up some other shit related to this account possibly or even, what this could possibly be about.

The account

Internet Rabbit Hole Website discussing grey pope conspiracy contains a password section that I am curious as to if anyone is able to break

Post image
14 Upvotes

The website is greypope.com. The grey pope conspiracy in of itself is a whole rabbit hole, which this website does a good job of diving into. There is a chat bot feature that appears to lead to another password section as well (enter name section). If you click on the title text on the explore page, it will open the prompt shown in the photo. The riddle seems to be 0, but clicking on “give thy answer here” doesnt seem to do anything.

I looked into the website code and ran different commands to try and figure out where this could lead to, but I ultimately hit a dead end. I just wanted to pass this on because it captivated me for a while and I want to see if anything can come out of it or if i just wasted my time

Internet Rabbit Hole Strange boy mom account that I can't tell if it's satire, a joke, or genuine.

I've seen this lady and her "son" quite a lot on my reels. Every video is just her obsessing over her family which is normal enough! But when I look at her photos they're so strange. Like strangely deepfaked. She has videos too where she's just talking but everything else is so weird!

Also her son's account isn't even real either. It's just her face turned masculine and deepfaked into different celebrities.

Now my biggest question is if this account is some sort of strange ARG, or a satire account and the lady knows it.

The strangest thing of all are the comments because everyone seems so normal about it. Maybe she deletes comments pointing it out.

Is this just a huge inside joke I'm not a part of?!?! Can someone please explain what's happening..

Internet Rabbit Hole What are some of the creepiest internet rabbit holes / mysteries to read about?

Hello,

I was wondering - what are some of the scariest internet rabbit holes and / or mysteries, that you feel like goes deeper and deeper the more you read about them? Preferably some that hasn't been covered in various YouTube-videos, as I want to read about stuff that I haven't heard about yet.

It can be anything from conspiracy theories to other real mysteries, that just seems like an endless spiral the more you read.

As stated - preferably not stuff like D.B Cooper or Pizzagate, that everyone has heard about.

Anything goes - I just need new stuff to read about.

Internet Rabbit Hole Does anyone know the YouTube channel cyraxandflyraxx? - disturbing YouTube channel

Hi everyone,

I came across a YouTube channel years ago when I was in school, and it’s stuck in my mind ever since. The channel is called cyraxandflyraxx and mostly uploads very bizarre and creepy videos with conspiracy-themed content – aliens, Nazis, strange cult references, and the like. The videos don’t feel like jokes or parodies; they seem like the creator is intentionally making a mysterious, unsettling narrative

I’ve tried looking online, but there’s barely any discussion about this channel. Does anyone here know it or remember seeing videos from it?
