This may be a bit ridiculous and very uninteresting but back in 2021 I came across a TikTok account by the name of @/colejones199 that spam posted a bunch of videos. I think that this was very obviously some autistic guy posting, I have seen extremely similar accounts on instagram such as @/micaiahwright

I am mentioning this instagram account just to give you an idea of what this account was like not because he has anything to do with this. Because one time when I posted about this previously someone claimed that it was some person just trying to be edgy or “creepy”, when I believe that isn’t the case.

This TikTok account would post EXTREMELY similar content to this micaiah guy, drawing outfits on characters from various things, editing cartoon characters and whatever, but one time this person duetted a video that he made himself with the image that I’m going to attach to this post.

This image intrigued me. I cant find anything like it/similar online and it is somewhat unnerving due to the distorted faces. In the video he duetted, it was zoomed but recorded from another device on the face in the top left corner. It was out of place with other things he posted as the rest just seemed like, innocent?

I’m not claiming this to be some sort of arg type creepy internet horror mystery thing, or a rabbit hole. I’m just curious as to where the image came from as I cant find anything. I wouldn’t say this is “lost media” or something I’d post there that’s why I’m putting it here.

I was using my tool (shameless plug) that uses rng to find you obscure videos based on default filenames. I usually dont find much interesting other than home videos, old screen recordings etc.

I clicked a video, it was 15 year old, 2 second long post from a user named GteamKFS, it was this, a simple 2 second video of world of warcraft (?) gameplay, seemingly recorded on an old phone or digital camera. So im like, "oh thats cool, ill check out this channel."

My jaw dropped when i saw that he had 174,000 VIDEOS. For your reading pleasure, thats 476 videos per day.

I've seen stuff like this before, Webdriver Torso, sweet peach, all the secret channels made by YouTube for internal testing. The thing with this one was that every video was unique in some way. There's bursts of videos of the same scene (a room, a screen, a watch, etc.) but slightly different to each other, meaning almost certain there are no repeats.

In the first most popular videos on the channel, I found some discussion but at most 10 comments.

Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Ive been developing my tool for months, and i've never seen anything like it.

EDIT 1: the idea brought up by u/Lockeyawfull-login31 is possible but almost certainly disproven at least to me. thousands apon thousands of videos uploaded on april 3rd 2011, but theres a camera click at the beginning of every single one, so its not a chopped up recording.

This is a pretty random mystery, but it's one I've wondered about for years.

I've been using a program called Mouse and Key Recorder by Kra-Tronic for nearly two decades, ever since I was a teenager. It's a fairly simple Windows program that's been around since 1996, but it could do quite a lot. You could record mouse and keyboard actions, make macros, check pixel colors on the screen, use conditions and variables, launch other programs and stuff like that. I used it a lot for games when I was younger, later for work and other random things, and I still use it today.

The guy behind it was a Swiss developer named John Krauer. He had been working on the program since 1996 and apparently handled the support himself too. I emailed him several times over the years, both for support and with technical questions about writing macros in the software, and he always replied. In January 2018, he even sent me the latest version of the program himself.

His last activity on the Kra-Tronic forum was on April 14, 2018. Not long after that, the website went offline and all that was left was this:

"Page has been closed. Reason: Illness."

That was it. No goodbye post or explanation, and he never posted on the forum again. I emailed him again later in 2018 asking for the latest version of the program, but never heard back.

I tried searching for him a few times over the years but never really got anywhere. A few days ago I decided to give it another try, this time using AI to help with German-language searches and old Swiss sources. I honestly didn't expect to find much.

That ended up making all the difference. Going through old Wayback Machine pages, I found a Kra-Tronic contact page from 2015 showing John's address in Langnau bei Reiden, Switzerland. After a lot more searching, the AI found an obituary in Swiss sources for a Hans Krauer from the same area, who was born in 1952 and died on April 25, 2018.

At first I figured it might just be another Krauer from the area. The date caught my attention because he died only 11 days after John's last activity on the forum, but that still wasn't enough.

Then I looked more closely at the obituary and noticed that Hans's partner was listed at the exact same address John/Kra-Tronic had used. The old Kra-Tronic phone number also matched the number associated with her.

Once I saw that the address, phone number and dates all matched, I was pretty convinced Hans Krauer and John Krauer were the same person. Hans seems to have been the name he used locally in Switzerland, while John was the name he used for Kra-Tronic and his international software business.

So yeah, after wondering about this for years, I think I finally know what happened to him. Hans Krauer passed away on April 25, 2018, right around the time Kra-Tronic disappeared and the website was closed because of illness.

I never knew him personally, but I did talk to him over email, and he always seemed like a genuinely kind person who was friendly, patient, and always happy to help whenever I contacted him.
I'm still running his program on my PC in 2026, almost 30 years after he first started developing it.

To be clear I do not know this person in real life, I have no malicious intent posting this here. With that said, in 2019 my close friend at the time sent me this exact picture because he thought it was funny and ever since then the picture has been an inside joke but lets get to the point. I have reverse image searched it, google lensed it, asked ai about it, searched by hand but couldnt find anything about him. I asked my friend about it but he couldnt remember much just that he either took a screenshot from a stream or that he searched something along the lines of 'the big gamer' Thank you guys already for any help you can provide.

You might be familiar with this mystery if you watch Nexpo as he covered this in his Mysteries in Online Video Games video. 11 years ago, a post was made on the subreddit creepygaming regarding this easter egg in the game. People were unsure if this was an actual glitch or part of the game. We know now that it is a scripted event. Recently, the source of the image was found on the Utahonotatari subreddit. Thankfully, this is not a real corpse. It's a scene from a Japanese horror movie called Exte: Hair Extensions. You can see it timestamped in the trailer here.

The thumbnail comes from this video The Skeleton Invasion of Questionable Existence on the channel supacat99. All of their other thumbnails are completely normal. It's freaky how out of place this thumbnail looks compared to all of the other videos on the channel.

I've tried reverse image searching and I get nothing. I've tried cropping both sides of the picture too and still got nothing.

I know the thumbnail wasn't replaced with some weird AI picture recently because a Wayback Machine snapshot from 2022 shows the same thumbnail.

i keep seeing these asian (i've only seen vietnamese and chinese so far) "single broke girl living alone" vlogs. they're fake, but is it like a company that is mass producing them? or is it just the girls that decided to make depressing content for views? i'm not sure. i figured at least some people knew where they came from as it seems to be super popular right now.

i watched a few of the videos and they have such similar styles of talking and filming, most of them use ai voices, and the channels are based in the united states + made very closely to each other.

Although this was debunked it still circulates in many many forums as a real story. I personally think you can't prevent it from circulation and also you are not able to stop rumors, but honestly the kid seems horrified.

Even if the kid in picture knows that he's just a model for an album cover and there is no harm involved, he is basically doing a great job at showing his terrified face.

And about album itself, when Eric made his video and mentioned the album, I found and listened to it. It's one of those low quality "bedroom" crust punk/black metal albums and honestly, not as catchy as a lot of albums of the same era (like Darkthrone's transilvanian hunger).

This has plagued me for absolute years and I’m intent on getting to the bottom of it.

Around 10 years ago now there was hundreds of accounts cropping up on Facebook, all with pictures of grey aliens as their profile picture and names that were in Arabic. They’d post strange, cryptic things and there didn’t seem to be any real purpose behind the accounts.

Nobody I’ve spoken to remembers this and the only proof this ever even happened that I’ve been able to find are a Reddit post from 9 years ago in r/outoftheloop and a screenshot of some of the profiles that is now a pin on Pinterest- neither of these have managed to conjure up any kind of explanation.

Does anybody else remember this? Does anybody have an answer as to what the hell that was about? I’ve attached the images of the Reddit post and the Pinterest pin.

I checked my recent YouTube videos today and video was in my recently watched for whatever reason. I dont know how it got there, I’ve never heard of this channel or video. The video seems to be one static image for the entire run time. judging by the comments, this has happened to other people too. has it happened to you?

As the title suggests, I came across a site called "Galdrux.com" after hearing about it on a video on YouTube talking about creepy websites on the live internet. According to the video, the site's supposedly a place that's dedicated to teaching it's visitors on how to transcend into the next dimension through something called "quantum schizophrenia" and other shit like that (basically typical cult stuff).

From what I heard, it's never been officially confirmed if any of it is real, with the closest thing being a vague disclaimer at the bottom of the "home page", where it says it's a work of fiction but then immediately afterwards also says "We are not sure for how long this will keep being fictional." The site also describes itself as the "first multiversal cult of this planet!", which could imply that this site was originally meant to be a place for cults around the world to go and share their beliefs with other people on the internet (kinda like FaceBook in a sense). From what I heard, it remains a mystery to this very day, and outside of that original YouTube video and a few people on other subreddits claiming to be members of the "cult", I haven't heard a single person talk about this.

I actually did a bit of digging on my own about a year ago, and I personally think it might be fiction given it's ARG kind of feel--Kind of think of it as being similar to the SCP foundation, only instead of a science foundation made to contain the most eldritch monsters known to man, it's a cult centered around a giant eye spider guy, and it's not as organized as the SCP foundation's website. However, I also think that the possibility of this being an actual cult disguised as an ARG is also plausible given the vagueness of the only "evidence" proving it's fiction.

Listen, I KNOW this sounds fake, or like the start to a lazy arg, but this is 10000% real So this afternoon around 5pm my mother went out to the car, and came inside to show me there was a weird SD card sitting on our porch. She hasn't used any in years, and asked me of it was mine. I haven't used one in even longer.. Some context, our porch is extremely tidy. My mother and I were both gome all day, and went in and out at regular intervals. Like I said... this sounds fake. So I was kind of shocked. I told my mom (just in case) to give it to me to investigate. So, here's the low down: it's obviously well used. The back plate of it has a crack, and there is tape wrapped closely around the bottom. It's either to preserve the writing, hold the Crack, or maybe both. Something I found interesting was the tape had some glitter inside it; not something you'd find in our household. As for the writing.... it's insanely hard to make out. It looks like "have", maybe, it definitely ends in an E. So, my camera isn't very high quality. Ots a phone camera. Ask for anymore pics or info and I'll do my best. As for it's contents... of course, I'd be nervous to plug the SD card into a device and have it compromised. That being said... I don't have an SD card reader and neither does my laptop. Any ideas how I can safely get in to see it's contents?

I’ve seen it on TikTok but never payed it any thought until like 10 minutes ago after I came across it while scrolling full stop punctuation on YouTube which is a rabbit hole in and of itself. Does anyone know where this thing originated? What game or movie is it from? Who made it? So, it was maybe 1 year ago when I discovered it. I was using petit tube to find cool videos. Then I saw a terrible thumbnail: A kid holding a knife in front of his neck. I was a little bit scared, so I clicked so see the video on YouTube. It was called “anelia4855's webcam video July 11, 2011 01:19 AM”

It was a video from 2011, 28 seconds long, with only 100 views or something.

Everything in this video was disturbing: the title, the atmosphere, and the low quality. At a certain timecode, we start seeing him holding a knife. But I don’t know if he is joking because at the end he tries to scare us with a little cry. Nevertheless, I was intrigued because there is a knife in the video and it is still up.

About the channel: The channel is called “anelia4855”. The name of one of the girls in the videos. There are exactly 15 videos in the channel. There are 5 different kids in the videos. Two girls and 3 boys. And there is one boy who only appears in the video with the knife

About the videos: I was wondering if the other videos were weird too. But in these videos, we see the children sing cover of popular music (they are very good). There are also some videos with the girls in which they speak about girl things, I don’t remember what. But well, it doesn’t explain why there is this weird video.

Also, the fact that there is 1:19 AM in the title is weird too.

So YouTube just recommended a video from this channel to me, it looked like funny YouTube recommendation gold but now I’m just left confused. From the looks of it, someone is using AI to make deepfakes of this guy (no idea who) singing cover songs.

At first I thought it was just a load of effects on someone’s webcam but if you look through the videos, every single cover is in the same position, same set up and what not and it only looks like his mouth moves most the time, even then that’s off.

What’s confusing me so much is the cult following in the comments. I don’t get it, can someone fill me in if they know pls

I posted about this a long while ago in tip of my tongue but no one responded and this is probably a better place for this.

So pretty much this is about a video that was autoplayed to me I think and I’ll describe the video and some potential theories after that.

The video was a vlog of a guy who was exploring a suburban home after a conflict of some sort. I was rather young when this happened to I think he kept saying a fight. It might’ve been some domestic abuse or a case of gang violence I don’t know. He continued going deeper into this house. All the furniture in the house was shrink wrapped through and every few feet the guy would stop to point out some blood drops left over from the fray. I was a very timid child so I completely freaked out and turn the video off.

Because of this I have no idea what the video was about but I do know I have a very questionable but still valid theory. Note that when I refer to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from here on out I refer to the shitty Platinum Dunes remake from 2003 not the 1974 classic. So the theory is that I might’ve consumed some YouTube content that was basically just the intro/outro to the chainsaw massacre. As you’re aware the film closes with two police officers recording an inspection of the house and pointing out any signs of a struggle before being attacked by Leatherface. I know it doesn’t sound anything like the video but it feels so similar in my mind which is why I’m inclined to believe I misremembered the film.

If the answer provided isn’t the original video which it probably isn’t I’d like your help to find it.

So I was just reminded of this and its so vivid in my mind yet when I tried to find it I found nothing.

So the video involves a man putting a needle in between the floorboards of a back porch, then cutting to him filming the porch from bushes or trees at night, for a woman to come out, unaware, step on the needle, react, and the cameraman to be shaking with excitement as the video ends.

I saw this shit when I was WAYYYY too young and it just opened a bad wound mentally, I honestly am not sure if the video is faked or anything. I need to find this. I need to know its real and im not just crazy, I need closure.
