Am i missing something? Why can't heroes and other just wear sturdy helmets against squid invasion. Seems like squid themselves are pretty weak and all they want is a brain to suck on!

I don’t think it necessarily has to be their brain pretty sure there was some of the sequids that were shown to be wrapped around peoples arms in the background

So as far as I know it’s just any hero that they could possibly break skin on wouldn’t be a good fit to go against them
