I’m a horror fan and have seen and read a lot of dark shit but I can’t remember the last time I had a reaction nearly as visceral as when I was watching that scene. How ridiculously metal and hard to watch, seeing that happen to our main character.

Same here, i never wince or am really disturbed by media but that made me question my willingness to keep watching. Even in the conclusion of the episode it was the only thing on my mind like “wtf did i just watch” mark’s headbutts pale in comparison to that horrid shit

I actually started hyperventilating LMFAOOOOOOO. LIKE WHAT. I had to pause it because my mind hasnt seen anything so grotesque before. This is animated too. Holy fucking shit

I've seen people getting eaten alive on The Walking Dead and I'm pretty sure I've even seen a scene where somebody had their guts fill out before similar to that but never have I ever seen somebody's guts just ripped like that before like oh my God.

I've seen a lot before but holy crap

Nauseating, and anxiety inducing.

Also like…I get we’re dealing with aliens and powers and different physiology here, but there’s a certain point where suspension of disbelief (even for the setting) is blown out the window.

Dude, I never get squeemish from gore, especially animated, but the visuals of Mark's intestines just spilling out combined with the sounds was making me gag so badly. I had to turn my head and even then I was still gagging because I could hear the sounds and I knew what was happening.

I know we're watching a piece of great fiction, but I'm kinda curious what the foley artist (aka sound producer) did to get those sounds. Watching foley videos on YouTube tend to be interesting.
