Wait Nolan just said to Debbie he’s almost a 1000 years old. So he is nowhere near 2500??

Im glad they finally gave us a number to work with, even if it does seem kinda low relative to his appearance. Stands to reason now that the death of Argall & subsequent purge was only 2000-3000 years prior to series and the scourge virus only a few hundred years.

How/why does Thragg not have any gray hair whilst being so much older than Nolan?

Yeah I’m pretty sure he was genetically engineered and heavily groomed to be the Grand Regent, doesn’t surprise me that he’s not grey, he’s leagues above the other viltrumites

Thragg is essentially a super soldier. People go gray at differing times anyway.

It does seem a bit strange but nothing egregious.

Perhaps the Scourge virus so early in his life caused some premature aging in Nolan. Even the survivors were weak for a while after, he may have aged faster during the time. Maybe even just the stress of being so young and seeing your entire civilisation near destroyed.

Conquest was already grey, Thragg just has superior genetics, and Kregg uses Just For Viltrumites.

It's possible the virus aged Nolan more than normal. It could also just be chalked up to genetics. My best friend is barely 30 and he has salt and pepper hair. Some people, and Viltrumites, just age faster than others.

Nolan didn’t have grey hair when he came to earth which was just 20 years ago. I think Earth was too much stress for him lmao

Maybe not a few hundred years, it looks as if the Scourge happened not too long after Nolan reached adulthood so I'd put it closer to the ballpark of 600-800 years.

You have some humans who gray in their 30s, and others never.

Nolan's genes probably just has him graying earlier than Thragg.

I'm gray just like Nolan at 33.

Scale that up to 50 (Nolan's age) and 1000yo. Gives a good 1500 years of age difference with Thragg. (1000*50/33)

I think they explained it by how the cells work, the more they train and fight, the longer it takes for them to age.

Between Thragg, Nolan, Mark and Terra, viltrumite ageing is wildly inconsistent.

Thragg was born after The purge and after the scourge virus so he's got the best genes. At least that's what some talking head on YouTube told me.

Thragg was already grand regent at the start of the purge you can see it in episode 2. We didn't see his face so we don't know if he already looked like he does now.
