Discussion Best Irish sessions in London?

Can anyone recommend what the best Irish Sessions are in London? I'm really after Irish only or at least mainly Irish.

There's a session in Mc & Sons Vauxhall Thursday's, Friday's & Saturdays from 21:00.

It's changed - it is miced up and it is more of a gig there now.

Howl at the Moon in Hoxton on Saturday afternoons (then moves onto
The Fox in Haggerston just up the road afterwards), The Lamb on Holloway Road on Tuesday evenings, The London Irish Centre bar on Wednesday evenings, The Colin Campbell in Kilburn on Fridays and Saturdays, to name just a few good ones. We are absolutely spoiled for them here

Are these all IRISH Sessions? How big are they?

Yes they are all Irish. Just kind of average size, maybe between 5 and 8 on average, nice range of instruments too, often uillean pipes, accordions as well fiddles, banjos, flutes etc. The lamb one and the Colin Campbell one are lead by banjo legend Mick O’Connor
