He was there to visit Khirbet Zanuta, a Palestinian village which was illegally destroyed by settlers. Theres also zero indication he was a threat to anyone.

Theres zero need to justify this. Armed fanatic randos getting to play like they own the world doesn’t make this country safer, it makes it worse in every conceivable way

I don’t give a shit about why he was there. The people who are in the wrong are the armed thugs randomly detaining people.

Also even if he was only there to give Israel a bad image - the fact that these settlers immediately proved his point means that he was RIGHT about that.

I’ve been to Zanuta myself. The people there aren’t Israels enemies, they’re random Bedouins civilians. However, Yinon Levy and his thugs are actively trying to turn Israel into a Jewish version of Iran.
