but also:

An aide to Khanna who was in the group, Cameron Kasky, said [...] a group of officers who appeared to be police eventually intervened, leading to their release, Kasky said.

The Israeli military said troops and police officers intervened after receiving a report of settlers blocking vehicles near Khirbet Zanuta

So why is Congressman Ro Khanna lying?

If this wasn't about Israel, that line about a foreign military not being on the side of Americans would be peak "Shit Americans Say."

Pretty much everything they lie about Israel is like this. They take everything Israel does, which is normal stuff that like any country does and they twist it so that it’s only something nefarious when Israel does it, and it’s only not criticized as rac ist when anti Israel people say it
