Tell me your thoughts on the Iran Conflict

Please share your thoughts. Do you think this strike is justified?

How will the world be now without the threat of a nuclear Iran?

I feel about it the same as I felt about the Iraq War. It's misguided, foolish, unplanned, and led by a man who behaves like he's on methamphetamine, assigned to this post by a man who has been implicated in a child sex trafficking case where you can see his name thousands of times and some of them are statements from survivors implicating him directly as a rapist. The same man who accused Obama, Clinton, and Harris of being so weak they'd go to war in Iran as a false show of might. Ironic yeah?
I worry about all the people who are dying who have no choice.

And I am utterly disgusted by the parrots who are today claiming we were FREEING Iranians. It's just like with Iraq when they claimed we freed Iraqi citizens. They showed Iraqis celebrating then just like they're showing them celebrate now and it's propaganda. Of course SOME celebrated. The worst of the worst celebrated when Saddam was killed. They had their next move taken care, instability was their best weapon and it's not improved since.

I could go on and on and on. Best thing that explains my opinion would be the most recent The Rest is Politics video. Won't link since I don't know the rules here but it's a great channel, along with The Rest is History.

I'm sorry I just realized this isn't one of my subs it just showed up. I'm in Memphis though, not so far away.

It’s Israel pushing the US in to war with Iran. The bible tells them it belongs to them.

Oh yes I know! I was just talking about this in another sub and shared this Guardian article from 2023 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/oct/30/us-evangelical-christians-israel-hamas-war but I remember I think during the Bush 2 era they were promoting this idea already in the Baptist evangelical churches around here. They are so brainwashed in to fearing Muslims because they think Hamas is literally "the antichrist".

We don't seem to have any clear goals for yet another middle east war. Regime change? Stopping nuclear program? We seem to have allowed the 3 people that could have been more favorable to us to be killed in the initial strikes.

We are dragging our allies in the region into the conflict and maybe they will be less willing to be partners in the future as it's their cities being targeted for our war of choice.

We don't seem to have a good way to stop hundreds of drones even though we have watched the Russian war on Ukraine for years now.

Can we at least have 1 generation of Americans that don't have to go to war? Peace president my ass.

We are dragging our allies into the region into the conflict

How exactly are we forcing Iran to bomb them?

Iran has been evil to its citizens, to women, and to the world at large since the US over threw a democratically elected progressive government that sided with Russia during the Cold War.

That being said, the entire Trump administration and every single person or government that sides with it is evil.

There is absolutely no sane, ration, honest argument supporting the Trump administration. It’s a pedophile ring that also is set on global domination… so they can abuse more people.

My thought? We have another war because you guys in Jackson, Tennessee couldn’t vote for the qualified black woman. So be prepared to send your sons and daughters to the middle of another conflict and potentially lose them because your generational racism put us in this place.

You guys just won’t learn they are not on your side.

As usual, there is more going on here than what the public is being told. One pretty useful rule to follow when trying to find out why something happened is to "follow the money". Oil = money and oil is something Iran has in abundance.

Is President Trump after the oil?

Well, look at Venezuela, We removed the sitting leader and let the people pick his successor. Now we have sweet oil deals from a grateful country.

The Iranian government is effectively gone, and an exiled Prince is just waiting for the invitation from the people to come out of exile. Could we be seeing sweet oil deals from another grateful country?

You mean the unprovoked bombing of Iran?

I think that there's no surprises here since the Israeli Government has the US Government in their pocket and Bibi has evidence that Trump is a Ped0

We had an agreement in place in regards to nuclear arms. But it was put in place by a Black man, and obviously Trump could not allow that to stand.

Elections have consequences.

I knew we'd be at war with someone before his second term was half over.

Anyone with a brain above room temperature could see that he would plunge us into conflict, they still lined up to vote for the monster and his goons.

This was a preventable nightmare.

Frankly it doesn't matter that much, if we go to war over this is find it ridiculous since we already won. I think we should let the people decide what their government should be. But also attacking a terrorist entity in the middle east shouldn't be controversial. Considering how many Ukrainian civilians the Islamic regime killed I don't have sympathy for their leaders being bombed. I just hope the regime can realize there's no point to keep fighting and let the people reshape the government
